A small, easily accessible daytime car park near Alkmaar’s centre and cheese market, suitable for motorhomes up to 7.4 Meter. Parking costs 3,25 Euro / Stunde and is considered expensive. German credit cards and EC cards reportedly do not work at the machine, while the app can be used to pay.

Easy to find and also suitable for a 7.4-metre motorhome. Very close to the town centre. At €3.25 per hour, it is very expensive.
Small and very expensive parking area. €3.25 per hour. We parked here to visit the cheese market. Very close to the centre.
Centrally located and only a few minutes' walk from the town, where the cheese market is also held. Unfortunately, no German credit cards or EC cards worked at the machine. Tip: download the app and the fee can be paid in a few seconds. Larger motorhomes, up to 7 metres, also fit.
Small car park intended for cars. Paid parking on Sundays too. Shops, including Aldi, are right next door and open. Ten minutes' walk from the town centre.

For goodness' sake, convenient parking for visiting the centre, but very expensive.
This car park accepts credit cards, but not Visa cards. When we asked the operator, he said it was an old system and that we should drive elsewhere. Unsuitable for motorhomes longer than 6 metres.
