Free parking without services, a 15-minute walk from the lovely village and its castle. Quiet at night.

Paved motorhome parking directly beside the road in a residential area. Five marked spaces. Some appear to be permanently occupied. Quiet at night, no shade, level ground. Accessible up to 3.5 tonnes. Only a small bin is available. Starlink reception is good. A beautiful park with a lake and playground is adjacent.

Positive: the well-located parking area is worth mentioning; the road and residential neighborhood are quiet at night. Negative: unfortunately, residents use three of the spaces as permanent parking for their large motorhomes. In the morning, they briefly check their campers. This takes away parking opportunities from travelers. Otherwise, it is lovely and green and good for walking, with or without a dog.

Thank you, Bemmel, for these free motorhome spaces! Wonderfully peaceful, beautiful location, very close to the center. Unfortunately, many places are closed on Monday morning, so we will have to come back again :)

I spent one night here and was parked fairly near the front of the lot. The busy road is clearly audible. It was reasonably quiet at night. Further back in the lot is probably quieter. It is very dark toward the park for a woman traveling alone. My motorhome is 7 meters long and fit well here. Fine for an overnight stay.

Good place for an overnight stay. Some traffic now and then, but not disturbing.

A good little spot for one night. No facilities, but it is free, and you can enjoy a nice walk in the park. Somewhat noisy, though.

Excellent free spot, suitable even for a large motorhome. You do not stick out too much. There is a beautiful park for walking the dog, with bins. Some young people rode scooters in the evening, but they stopped politely around 11 p.m., so it was quiet until morning and we slept well.

Came here today to find the bays are not suitable for vans over 7 metres. Also as we turnd round to leave there were acorns falling onto our van,which would have kept us awake during the night.

Great free location for stays of up to 72 hours. It is beside a park in a residential area, with an easy walk or cycle into town for restaurants and shopping, and to the lovely castle. We were heading to the cross-Channel ferry, but a teenager on a noisy moped stayed until 10:30 p.m.; after that, we had a peaceful night's sleep. Thank you.

Nice parking area for the night too, although teenagers nearby were quite loud. Otherwise perfect—you can cycle wonderfully along the dike to Nijmegen, there is no traffic noise, and you are immediately surrounded by greenery. We spent one night here.

The place is perfect, but be careful: arrive early because there are only five spaces and it is very popular. It is in a very quiet residential neighborhood with lots of green space. We spent a safe night here.

Great quiet parking area directly beside a park with several children's playgrounds. The lake is beautifully landscaped for walking. The parking bays themselves are very narrow and unsuitable for motorhomes over 6.5 meters.

Beautiful place and wonderful surroundings. The number of spaces is now officially limited to five. Some campers also parked in the other spaces, and there were still enough available. The city center and the attractive branches of the Rhine are easily reachable on foot. Nijmegen can be reached by bicycle via a lovely cycle path. Apart from a talking rubbish bin, there are no facilities.

Beautiful place for visiting Bemmel and spending the night. Very good that there are now rules, and hopefully they will be enforced. If you are longer than 6 meters, I think it is better to drive on. For years we have been amazed that some 'motorhomers' put all their belongings outside everywhere and act as if they are on a campsite. They are probably former caravan campers.

The municipality has made some changes here, indicating a stricter policy. There are now five designated spaces with signs explaining the rules. Nothing strange about that; last year there were nine campers, some with awnings, chairs, tables, and even barbecues. They spoiled it somewhat for everyone else. NOTE: after the new layout, vehicles longer than 6 meters definitely will not fit.

It does the job for one night. No services, just a bin. Many people walk their dogs nearby in the morning.

Good place; there are now five spaces that will be enforced. The spaces are too small for larger campers—probably a maximum of 6.5 meters. Do not park outside the spaces, because the municipality may close the site. Think of others, not just yourself. If your camper is too long to fit, find another place, such as Huissen.

Nice place to stay beside a beautiful walking area. The parking lot is being modified to reduce nuisance for local residents. A maximum of five campers may remain in the marked spaces.
