Camino de Ronte, 34460, Osorno la Mayor
Been here?
A remote picnic area beside an hermitage, with tables, a large open space, unobstructed views, and 4G reception. The final 2km is a passable, partly paved road, and there are no services. It is usually very quiet, although a recent visit involved repeated nighttime harassment by cars, horns, lights, and shouting.

Unsafe in August. At midnight, two cars with young people came to wake us up, honking, shouting insults, and stopping in front of us while flashing their lights. They left and came back to do the same thing, until we decided to leave.Translating
Very beautiful place to spend the night! We were alone; it was truly calm and soothing. A few athletes early in the morning, but very discreet. We recommend this place 100%.Translating
Super quiet and remote, we were all alone and had a stunning view of the sunset. Spent the night. Set in a large churchyard there is a sign saying no wreckless driving. Very quiet, no facilities, so take your trash with you!
This spot in the middle of nature ticks all the boxes: absolute peace, unobstructed views, and 4G reception. There are 2 km of drivable road to get here, but it is perfectly manageable with any vehicle! Very distant train and motorway noise, I suppose. I highly recommend it!Translating
Huge open area beside the Chapel of Our Lady of Ronte, with picnic tables and some shade. Isolated and very peaceful. It only lacks a water point to be perfect!Translating
Excellent place, very peaceful. However, be aware that around May 20, the feast of the hermitage's patron saint takes place, with festivities. We were there a week beforehand, and there was a mass and a small reception in the evening. According to the lovely people we spoke to, there is no problem sleeping here.Translating
Very nice and quiet place with benches, tables, rubbish bins and shade. It is perfect for a stopover. However we didn‘t stay as we were the only ones and we had the feeling of beeing in the middle of nowhere.
Very quiet spot on the Way of Saint James. Large natural area with picnic tables. On high ground, so somewhat windy. There were two vehicles. No noise at night. Perfect.Translating
Very quiet place to spend the night. Ideal for a stop between Burgos and León if you want to stay overnight. There are picnic tables. No noise and nobody bothered us. We were alone.Translating
