Quiet camper parking, midges

Great place for one night. We registered at the visitor center, which is definitely worth a visit, and even took the opportunity to barbecue. Thank you!

We spent two very quiet nights here. Ideal for visiting the sites around the information center by bicycle. Very clean toilets and a barbecue nearby. In short, a very good spot.

We were eaten alive by biting midges. We had to flee.

Quiet, illuminated asphalt parking lot. Perfect for staying overnight. The toilet is on the other side of the stream; cross the bridge marked “Koprarada.” It is clean.

The construction work is now finished and the site has been cleared. It is now partly paved and illuminated. No services are available apart from rubbish disposal and a pit toilet. The national park visitor center is open every day. There is not much traffic on the main road after 8 p.m. A quiet night!

Still under construction, but a small parking area is available. The information center is closed today and tomorrow, May 26–27, 2025. Toilet available, but no water point. A lovely little trail runs almost entirely along a wooden boardwalk.

Under construction, but you can park here during the day for hiking. The beaver trail starts here. The tourist office is in a temporary bungalow, where you can get maps of the park trails.

We only intended to do the short trail but ended up spending the night here. Very good place, flat and quiet. There were four campers. The water from the information building’s hose smelled of rotten eggs; the outdoor tap is not drinking water. The chemical toilets shown in the photo are gone; there is one in the woods, dry. The trail is nothing special, and there are many mosquitoes in the forest.

Great place! Quite. Semi amount of room. Toilets on site I believe (didn’t use them). Nice hike starts from here, a very easy one. Of course there’s a million mosquitoes in the forest but not that many at the actual parking. Free to use campfire with free wood!

Beautiful surroundings for walking. The water smells extremely strongly of rust and sulfur; I would not use it for washing dishes or showering.

Very quiet. A little cramped, but free. No facilities. Nice beaver loop. Unfortunately, no beavers, but plenty of mosquitoes ;)

It is great that this free option exists in the national park. Our advice: bring lots of mosquito repellent and watch out for horseflies. Very important: do not drive or park on the grass. We were not fully aware of this and were chased off the field in the morning by a very angry park ranger. You can park without problems in the adjacent parking lot.

5G, very quiet, and even toilets are available. I felt safe and at one with nature.

A very quiet place for the night, directly in front of the visitor center. From the north, the road is paved up to there. Only afterward does the gravel road begin southward. You can walk the “Beaver Trail” on site. The other routes start at different locations. The staff at the visitor center are very nice and happy to help if needed.

We only filled up with water. There is a tap on the camping field. You cannot drive directly to it, but you can park easily beside the path. With a 15-meter hose, filling the tank was no problem. The big advantage is that you can take a break on the field at the same time. Good water pressure; no problem even with a filter.

You can also camp freely in nature at two locations about 0.75–1 km from here. Each has a dry toilet. The lady at reception is kind and helpful. There is also a map showing all the free camping areas for tents in the national park.

We had a pleasant and quiet night here with four other vehicles. The site is almost entirely accessible by asphalt from Tori. Wi-Fi works directly at the information center. We would come again.
