The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, with the sound of the river and a nearby bar. The area has also been described as humid, and parking may be full at busy times.

We were here 30 years ago, when it was still possible to camp freely on the meadow. Today it is very well maintained, but inaccessible by vehicle because of a barrier. In addition, stopping with camping vehicles is prohibited throughout the entire site. Farther uphill there are two beautiful spots, one paid and the other still free.
Very quiet parking area with a great view. The bar was closed, which is why we were the only ones there. Anglers arrived in the morning and greeted us kindly.
