This is a sloping picnic area outside the village, with many tables, stone benches and barbecues. It is a peaceful starting point for hiking trails, including the Sendero Calcetín. Finding level parking can be difficult, although afternoon shade is good. Approach carefully, as GPS may direct vehicles through streets that are too narrow.

Good place to rest and sleep. Several shaded orientations.
Good place to eat or rest, quite sloping. Quiet and a starting point for a route. The Calcetín Trail starts here.
Parking area on the upper side, outside the village. Be careful with the GPS, which takes you along streets where there isn’t enough room. It is better to go around. Very quiet. It is difficult to find a level area. I parked by the firebreak and it was fine. Very good afternoon shade.
The only place in the area with good shade for the motorhome and for peace and quiet. It gets shaded from 2 p.m. onward, and it is very peaceful, with barely a couple of cars. There is a place for barbecues and stone tables and benches.
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, in the middle of a pine forest with tables and easy walking trails, and a nearby village for food and other necessities.
