Mountain gravel parking, steep access

Perfect for a quiet night. Several spaces are available, two of them shaded until late morning. The road is marked as closed, but everyone uses it in reality. Do not leave rubbish!

Simple dirt and gravel area with people passing by on mountain bikes. If you have a vehicle larger than a van, it is better to come up from Premilcuore, which is shorter and less winding. Looking at the area from the road, you will always have shade with the rear door on the left. TIM's signal is quite good on the wooden fence overlooking the valley on the right.

Excellent parking area, also suitable for staying overnight. No services and little phone signal. Several trails start here! Both roads to get here are passable, but be very careful because the road is quite narrow. The shorter route is from Premilcuore. We spent a somewhat stormy night because of strong gusts of wind. Nevertheless, a wonderful place!

The road from Premilcuore has a road-closed sign, but you can easily reach the parking area in 10 minutes. There are hairpin bends that are easy to navigate with a small camper and you can arrive without problems. We stayed one night and there was practically nobody around. We enjoyed the view, starry sky, silence, and a magnificent sunrise at 6:35.

It takes courage to reach it: the road is narrow and there are roadworks, but up there is a beautiful view and breathtaking stars. There is nothing except a somewhat rundown picnic table. Little shade. Large parking area; we were alone. From there, you have to drive back down for anything.
