11150, Vejer de la Frontera
Been here?
A simple, secluded finca surrounded by nature, offering very quiet nights and views, with a mountain village 5 minutes away and the nearest beach 15 minutes away. Electricity and fresh water for tanks are available, but the water is not drinking water and there are no greywater or toilet disposal facilities. The ground is uneven and one area is small, while recent stays mention a compost toilet. Dogs may not be practical because walking them requires leaving the finca.

It was a pleasure to spend the night here: very quiet place, close to the white villages and beaches. Ten-out-of-ten hospitality; they even offered us the use of a dry toilet. Pure nature views. We will return.
We stayed two nights and had a great time! A very kind hostess brought us some fruit from her own garden. Very tasty and thoughtful! The place is good but not level, so take that into account. You need leveling blocks. Electricity is fine, and there is water for the tank. In the morning you wake up to the bells of the little goats in the field behind you. Very picturesque and wonderfully rural!
Although it says dogs are allowed, it is not advisable. You are not allowed to walk them around the property; they even told us we had to leave the property to let them relieve themselves, onto a narrow road with no paths or countryside to walk in. We left and returned only to sleep.
On the way back we visited Finca Mariposa again. We really enjoyed the incredible peace and quiet. The birds sing here like in paradise, and during the day the goats' bells ring like in the Alps. Thank you for the hospitality; the loquats were delicious!
Good overall... warm residents and a friendly welcome... but the pitch is small, so putting out a table and two chairs is difficult... no rubbish bin... water available but not necessarily drinkable... although there is little traffic, the road is right next to it... I have had better for less money... even in Spain.
We spent one night in this very natural place. Woke up to birdsong. We received an excellent welcome. Very good spot.
What a beautiful place on absolutely breathtaking grounds! It is very quiet and peaceful, and the starry sky is amazing. Nadja and Jochen contribute to the wonderful atmosphere; they are extremely nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to return!
What a lovely coincidence that we found the finca! We enjoyed two days in absolute peace, surrounded by nature, with only two pitches—perfect! Water and a compost toilet are available, and the owners gave us lettuce and oranges. Vejer is 10 minutes away by bicycle or car. Many thanks for the warm and uncomplicated welcome and communication—we would gladly return!
We stayed here for two days and felt very comfortable. We have not slept so peacefully in a long time. Thank you, Nadja, for the delicious lettuce and the best oranges. You have to go up to Vejer to shop, so it is best to stock up beforehand!
