Sports park parking, quiet nights

We arrived around 7 p.m. and the entire motorhome parking area was occupied by cars. It is also very noisy. We stayed because we are going to an event at the Steverhalle tomorrow.✦Translating

Access is difficult for motorhomes over 8 metres. However, the site is very level and the grass grids make it easy to drive on in all weather. Dog walks are possible on foot from the site. One star deducted because commuter traffic is very loud in the morning.✦Translating

There was a lot of noise, traffic and children coming from the school or sports centre during the day. The night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. was very quiet. Unfortunately, a 10-metre MAN is parked here, using its motorhome as a storage area with a trailer attached for advertising purposes. It blocked six parking spaces. It is a shame that this is not penalized.✦Translating

We spent a very peaceful night, centrally located by the sports park and Steverhalle. Thank you to the town of Senden for this free motorhome site. Some municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia could take it as an example.✦Translating

A nice motorhome site directly beside several sports halls and a swimming pool. Unfortunately, the site was occupied by cars. In the evening, the swimmers had left and there was plenty of space. Nearby there is a castle with a garden, ideal for a short walk or dog walk.✦Translating

The area itself is not bad, but the surroundings are not great because it is located along a busy street day and night, with vehicles sometimes travelling fast. If you are looking for peace and quiet, move on!✦Translating

Avoid during the Schützenfest season! Drunken shouting until 4 a.m. At 3 a.m., teenagers threw objects at the windows of the motorhomes. I went out with a flashlight and they quickly disappeared. Fortunately, there was no damage to the vehicle. The next day, locals told me that this apparently happens, but only during the Schützenfest season. Otherwise, it is okay and well paved.✦Translating

Beautiful and clean place with a rubbish bin, no services, and very quiet for spending the night. In the evening, you can walk in the park and see the castle next door. I recommend it.✦Translating

Very good location for cycling tours in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the hedges in the parking area were already being cut from 7 a.m. this morning, so the site is somewhat quieter at weekends but not on normal weekdays.✦Translating

Small, free parking area equipped for motorhomes. Close to the park and castle. Close to the sports centre and swimming pool, but quiet. Great, with the town centre and shops nearby.✦Translating

Nice site with access to the town and a swimming pool right next door. Unfortunately, there is no waste disposal. Cars also occupy the site, and we could only get onto it late because everything was parked up. Good starting point for bike tours. Based on a review, we thought it would be quiet there. Not quite. From around 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. there is hardly any traffic noise, so we slept well here. During the day it is sometimes very noisy because of the road. BUT! It is centrally located, with a park, castle, swimming pool, supermarket, and motorway access directly opposite. Great one night stopover in my old home town. 78hr maximum stay e stayed overnight and used the excellent swimming pool for €5 with great facilities including an out door spa and pool open all year. A quiet and peaceful Thursday night with 3 other MHs.
