Lighthouse cape, rough dirt access

We spent a night at the upper small place, no people around, just nature. The spot is perfect even/flat. There is no shadow, in summer it could get hot, but perfect for the night. Not suitable for large vehicles, vans are fine.

The spot is incredible, absolutely peaceful. A few people pass by to check on the lighthouse, but it is not disturbing. As you go up toward the lighthouse, there is a GR trail on the right, marked red and white. You can follow it for a 1.5-hour walk to the port. A fox visited us at night; watch your rubbish. The place is clean, thank you for leaving it as you found it. Such places are rare in Italy.

Access is still closed with a gate and a piece of rope, probably because work vans regularly pass through. They are doing work near the radio mast. The other place before the gate and rope is fine, however.

Quiet place, undisturbed night. You arrive via a narrow, somewhat rough dirt road, but it is easily passable with a van that is not too wide or long. The spot is flat beside the dirt road, reached by going down a somewhat rough step. In the morning, access to this road was “closed” with a piece of rope; perhaps it is better to stop at the spot before it, which rises slightly to the left.

Beautiful location for sleeping, but I do not recommend it for large vehicles!

Dirt route has very big potholes, with a van no big problems, but for larger cars not recommended. Place is very beautiful and no waste to see.

Suitable place for a short stop, nothing special. Convenient if you want to hike in the lighthouse area.

The site would easily deserve four stars, but the rubbish there is disgraceful: papers, cans, plastic... As usual, we leave the place cleaner than we found it so campers are not accused of making a mess. The place is quiet and the view is magnificent.

Everything is great, but you feel as if you are being grilled by 1,000 mobile-phone antennas. Haha, excellent 5G reception; for those who need it...

beautiful place to stay. for vans would recommend the second parking on the left after the dirt road. place is surrounded by green and great sunset. the dirt road is bumpy and muddy (we arrived after 1.5 days of rain, big pools and holes), so bigger/heavyer RV's maybe want to park on the left before the dirt road begins.

Very beautiful, quiet place. The upper area requires some ground clearance. It is also a little tight for reversing into a space. With our L2 Sprinter, we just managed it.

Wonderful place! We spent two very peaceful nights here, alone, and chose the slightly higher spot because it was flatter. Our cats could roam around calmly without stress. Yes, the road is bumpy, but it is passable. Beautiful views from the van and a superb little hike. Unfortunately, there were a few cigarette butts on the ground, but compared with the rest of Italy it was fairly clean.

We spent a quiet night here, alone! The view is superb. The access road is very bumpy, with holes and bumps, but if you go slowly it is passable even without four-wheel drive.

Very beautiful place. A few hikers come by during the day, but otherwise you are alone. If you do not have a large van, we recommend the upper spot rather than the large lower one. Hikers park at the lower one during the day. At night, you can hear loud music from the village, but it becomes quiet early enough to sleep. We recommend doing the hiking trail once. Wear hiking shoes!

Really beautiful place, fantastic sunrise, with several pitches available. We chose to go up a dirt track on the left of the first pitch, leading to a very quiet place with old ruins. Check its condition before driving up; we got a few scratches from some plants. On the way back down, we cut them back.

Fairly secluded place to stop and sleep, but certainly more difficult to reach with a motorhome because the road is narrow. It must be very atmospheric at night, with the lighthouse above and shooting stars during the night of Saint Lawrence.

Yes, why not, but there is no view from the motorhome, unfortunately there is a lot of feces. Access is fine, but three meters of height is tight.

We slept here for two nights, in two different places: one day higher up and one lower down. Above, there is only one spot immersed in nature, and I preferred it: few animals, quiet, and you could see the lighthouse shining at night. The lower spot had more space but was much dirtier. The ruins of a building are a short distance away. Quiet in any case.

Very good spot, peaceful, with a small picnic area. The path is a little rough, but it is passable if you go gently. L3 H2 van.
