Canyon viewpoint, rough bumpy access

This place used to be a hidden gem. We had already stopped here several times for an hour to enjoy the view. Many probably don't know it, but this is a special place with a film history. It was always a peaceful place for a moment. Now it seems to be overrun with tourists. It is a great place to marvel at the beauty—please respect it.✦Translating

There were few people around in the evening. After sunset, we were left completely alone and had a quiet, calm night with just a little wind. In the morning, a shepherd came by with his goats. He didn't mind us at all. We slept on the edge of the canyon.

I don't think it's appropriate to park up there. It is a viewpoint for the canyon, not a place to spread out and camp. If anything, stay down in the visitor car park, although it is very uneven.✦Translating

A quiet night with four other vans at the end of September. It is not possible to reach the spot with the view over the canyon. There is a post blocking access (although it can be lowered, that is not its purpose). The car park is not flat, and quite a few locals come to walk around and take photos.✦Translating

Incredible spot in this exceptional natural setting. We slept in the large, flat car park below (about 200 metres down, along the cliffs) and we were alone in the world! Starry night, very quiet. Magnificent place with a view of the canyon in the evening and the next morning.✦Translating

Beautiful location, chaotic until after sunset. We didn't feel confident taking our 6-metre campervan along the last stretch of road, so we stopped in the car park beforehand, even though it isn't flat.✦Translating

We went as far as the viewpoint near the canyon. The path is rocky but accessible with a motorhome. Once there, the view is magnificent and there is a large, fairly flat area compared with the first one you see. It is indeed windy, but if you park the motorhome facing the wind, it is perfectly fine. We were alone in the world.✦Translating

Stayed in the parking lot as there is now a metal thing preventing you from going further. Quiet until 6 AM, people come early for hikes. Beautiful starry night tho ;)

Sloping ground, but we're all cool campers! We were here and two more vans arrived. Another one came at night and dared to make its way to the canyon. It is doable, just not with our vintage motorhome. Starry night, breathtaking view :)✦Translating

Very exposed to wind and the big parking lot is visible from the road. View is amazing, but road up there is rough. We decided not to spend the night

We drove up but unfortunately there was too much wind. We got back to the big parking to sleep. In the far left corner was doable.

One of the best spots in Croatia. Drive the last bit of road slowly, it’s rocky. However, perfectly fine to do with almost any van.

Quiet and a nice view in the morning. All other campers parked right at the view point, we didn’t though, wanted some peace and quiet, so we stayed at the parking lot. Nobody cared, in the morning a bus full of tourists arrived again, nobody cared. Take your trash, don’t use the forest as a toilet and we can use this place longer.

You arrive at a first dirt car park; continue along the path on your right, which is a little steep but accessible to all types of vehicles. A tour group arrived at 9:30 this morning. This place is magnificent and extremely relaxing. I was supposed to stay one night, but I felt so good here that I stayed three nights. I loved it and would have continued staying because I felt so well. It is beautiful and peaceful, with no problems on the road; everything is fine, and very few cars pass by. Wide parking post relatively flat the access road is a bit bumpy but you can get with small cars to. three is close viewpoint on the river canyon. We spend night but we must close tej california rent becauae is was winding ( not dangerous but unpleasantly). Dont stay long on day because is no shade there.

The car park is nice, even though it is somewhat uneven. Another couple with a caravan was parked next to us. The night was very quiet, and it was not until around 8 o'clock that canyon visitors parked there. Very early in the morning, a local came by and emptied the bins.✦Translating

Dreamlike place in the middle of nowhere! The area is not completely level, but we were alone and could use one of the few flat spots. The night was very quiet and the view is a dream! Please put your rubbish in the bins provided so that the place stays beautiful!✦Translating

big carpark, easy access. it's not flat, and people start arriving to walk to the canyon at 5am. wouldn't stay the night again.

You can park in the large official car park or directly above the canyon. A wide dirt road leads to the car park, and even large motorhomes and long caravans can pass easily. Amazing silence at night; during the day the car park is very busy because of the viewpoint. Rubbish bins. Clean. Even in the high season, we spent the night here alone.✦Translating
