This is a large parking area near Castel di Sangro's city centre, green areas, shops, and mountain views. The parking area has been extended across the large field beyond the cycle path and is generally suitable for overnight stops. There is no camper service here, but one is available at Camping Oasi del Sangro about a couple of km away for 5 euro.

Four stars only because there is no motorhome service, although it is available at Oasi del Sangro campsite a couple of kilometers away for €5. The parking area has also been extended across the entire large meadow on the other side of the cycle path. We have stopped here many times and never had a problem. The municipality has placed four large recycling bins behind the bicycle rental kiosk.
I arrived at the stopping area near Eurospin to do some shopping and was looking for the motorhome service, which is not available. I asked a motorhome user parked there for information, and he told me that some troublemakers had smashed the windows of a parked motorhome that night. Not recommended :(
Free parking on Viale dello Sport next to the sports hall, near the center with all services. Market nearby on Thursdays.
Convenient for visiting the historic center.
Empty at begining of June. Big parking lot next to markets and city center. Didnt sleep here but for visiting city it is good location. Resturants in walking distance. Check out Alt by Niko Romito
