Church parking, muddy in rain

nice spot after visiting Kalamata. There is a dog, which is curious. We saw a fox stroll by while sitting in the car.

A nice spot overlooking the city of Kalamata. There’s a few areas further off the road but only for low roof vans as there’s a lot of overhanging branches. We parked a bit closer to the road but no issues. A local guy stopped and had a chat with us about our trip and suggested places to visit which was nice. A big dog and a cat wandering about but very friendly. Give them a fuss and some food :)

Excellent place, very quiet. The dogs are super friendly. The big dog loves cuddles while the other two are more shy. We met the owner (?) from the other side of the road who told us that the big dog is fine with other dogs but the other two aren't. I didn't have any issues with my small dog running around my car.

Between the olive branches and the two large dogs whose bowls are on site, it did not seem very welcoming to me. I continued on my way.

Quiet place. We slept for two nights! Although it is next to the road, it is quiet because cars pass quite rarely. Beautiful views of the sea, mountains, and the illuminated city of Kalamata at night!

Good spot for spending the night; the road is nearby, but after 10:30 p.m. you can hardly hear any cars. There is a dog wandering around, but it is friendly. You can find shade if you make the effort.

After being sent away from Kalamata, we came to spend the night. There’re trees, church and bin. People stop to have lunch under the trees. 3 dogs and a cat. Friendly! didn’t approach our dog, only one barked a lot but we shhhushed and he went away/ stoped barking. Nice view of Kalamata if you walk a little bit further. Net signal cosmote is good for those who need to work remotely.

Unfortunately, we could not stay there. Upon arrival, we were immediately surrounded by five dogs! Since we have two dogs ourselves, it was impossible to leave the motorhome. We found a quiet little spot 300 meters farther up, where it was peaceful.

Less than 10 km from Kalamata, easy access and a very quiet night. We saw wild boars and jackals. We spent two perfect nights.

Quiet parking in the mountains above Kalamata. Close to the road, certainly, but very quiet! Excellent place for a lunch stop or to spend the night, even with a large motorhome (8.6 m for us).

Spot beside an infrequently used road; hardly any traffic at night. We spent a quiet night there from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Beautiful view of Kalamata.
