Paid parking, nighttime noise

Very good parking area for visiting the old town of Faro, taking an excursion, or catching maritime transport to its beaches. A 6 m motorhome fits easily. It is somewhat noisy at night, but manageable for sleeping. I recommend it.

Parking for cars; at most, suitable for a van, but not for a motorhome.

We only stopped to visit the town; we did not spend the night. We arrived and easily parked our 6 m motorhome in April. Since it was Sunday, we did not have to pay for parking.

Stayed 2 nights here, with no issues. Great for our 6m van, probably not ideal for anything longer. There doesn't seem to be a limit on how many hours you can buy at once, and the machine won't accept payment after 9pm, when it's free. You have to pay with coins. There was a policeman there for much of our stay and he checked tickets, but it also felt very safe. Great location for central Faro.

This is not a parking area where you can park a motorhome—forget it completely.

The location is great and there is a nice view but the parking spaces are too short and not suitable for motorhomes; only for vans.

I parked during the day to see the city. It is convenient because the parking spaces are spacious, and I was not worried that someone would hit our vehicle.

We spent one night there in our van and everything went very well. We had no problems at all, no security concerns or anything else. It is in the city center, so very convenient for walking around. Visited in early August.

A perfect location. 50 cents an hour and free after 8pm.

Just arrived. So far, quite nice. Bought a parking ticket until 9 p.m. We will spend the night here. There is still enough space. Suitable for panel vans.

We spent a few hours. The spaces are for vans, not motorhomes. The place is very safe and next to the center.

Well located, near the historic center, which is absolutely worth visiting. Pedestrian streets, harbor... Be careful, there are no cliffs in Faro! Parking with a lot of passing traffic. Inexpensive. Free from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Maximum length 5.5 m, because with a 6 m vehicle you extend beyond the line. You cannot park crosswise. The paved access path is quite narrow. Listed on Park4Night, but we were the only vehicle there. No vans or motorhomes.

Very pretty location in the city centre next to the marina and some cafe's. Cheap as well at 50 cents an hour. However, too cramped if you drive anything bigger then a campervan. Perpendicular parking on a dead end road so if your neighbour parks a bit too close to your motorhome, you're stuck.

We parked here for one afternoon. Paid 3.5€ for 7 hours and went on a birdwatching boat tour. Nothing to complain about.

No vans, and the access road has a huge number of potholes. Behind the railway station. We did not feel safe enough to spend the night there…

Very dusty and full of potholes, but very practical considering how many people want to park in the center. Free. It does the job very well.

It’s really close to the center (in the marina) but it’s a bit chaotic both in the morning and in the night. You pay from 8am until 9pm but it’s quite cheap (50cts per hour).

Car park is busy during the day, but pretty empty after dark. Spaces are not big enough for anything over 6m. For a city centre car park we had a remarkably peaceful night’s sleep between 11pm - 6am.

The location of the car park is great for visiting the city and the fees are perfectly reasonable. You can find a spot to stand comfortably with a vehicle up to 6.5 m long. The place is not suitable for larger vehicles. The car park is busy, so we looked for somewhere quieter to spend the night. In principle, it would also work here.
