17C Strandgatan, 891 33, Örnsköldsvik
Been here?
This parking area near Örnsköldsvik city centre offers a harbour view and easy access to the waterfront and town. Only three spaces are explicitly suitable for campers, and parking has been free at weekends. It is usually calm enough for sleeping, although nighttime youths with loud music and conversation have been reported. The site is convenient for a short city stay.

Beautiful place, but unfortunately there were young people at night with loud music and chatter.
Bought a 24-hour EasyPark ticket through the Parkapp and parked. Busy during the day. Quiet enough to sleep in the evening. Beautiful location by the water, good for walks or visiting the town. Several campers were there, although only three spaces of suitable size were available on the left side of the entrance by the water. Good for one night.
Parking area next to the town centre, very quiet.
Spot very close to the town. Price as indicated. Three spaces for motorhomes.
Great parking area right in the town centre, 30 SEK/24 hours, quiet but the town has little of interest. For us, it was a stopover town for the night.
There are only three spaces left, explicitly designated for campers.
A large parking area in the middle of town. You can go for a walk directly from there even in the dark, as all the paths are lit. It was very quiet and the price is fair. You can walk straight into the town centre. For a town parking area, it absolutely deserves five stars.
Quiet, six motorhomes last night, inexpensive. 4G works. Not glamorous, as it is a town parking area.
Very nice place, but Saturdays can be bad if you are here when the pressure is on: lots of young people driving around and playing very loud music until late at night. Fun, but little sleep. I will definitely come here again.
As mentioned previously, remarkably low price and beautiful location beside the quay, just a stone’s throw from the marina bars. We emptied the grey water into the drain, which seems intended for this, next to the small utility building.
Quiet place for the night, 25 SEK/24 hours; what can I say? If you want something more expensive, go opposite—with a smell included as a bonus!
Indeed, we paid 25 SEK, only €2.10 for 24 hours. We are very close to the town.
We spent one night here. Free and very close to the town centre. At weekends, during the light nights, quite a lot seems to happen here at night. In our case, the night was already over at 5:30 a.m. because a cruise ship docked right next to us. But it did not matter; it was still lovely in Örnsköldsvik.
It is an inexpensive parking area—maximum 25 SEK per day—near the town centre and directly beside the two harbour cranes. From 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. you can park there free of charge. It was relatively quiet at night. During the day, there were the usual sounds of a car park. A space in the first row does require accepting that people constantly walk past at a distance of around 2–4 metres during the day.
Very quiet. Locals fishing and walking. There are several coves where you can spend the night.
