Unnamed Road, 4740-166, Belinho
Been here?
A small, peaceful wild spot near a sanctuary, sheltered from wind among maritime pines and mimosa, with a distant sea view. The latest comments found the approach uneven and stony, and reported no water or mobile coverage in the sleeping area. The chapel and its park are nearby, while occasional village events may be audible from higher up. Please take all rubbish away.

Extremely quiet spot. The road has quite a few potholes and stones, so we stayed along the roadside, but there were very few vehicles, mostly walkers or runners. The small chapel and its beautiful grounds nearby are worth visiting.
Very good place to sleep. There was a concert in the village that could be heard perfectly from the summit, 100 m higher up, but in the sheltered spot there was nothing. No water or mobile coverage in the sleeping area. It is 100 m from the sanctuary at the top of the road.
Excellent spot, sheltered from the wind and very quiet. We spent the night there peacefully.
Unfortunately, the parking area is very uneven, and turning around was difficult. We arrived at night and found it a little creepy, so we left again. Otherwise, it looked quite good, with a bin and space for about five campers.
Very peaceful place. We spent a night in nature. From the sanctuary you can enjoy views over the town and the Atlantic.
Next to the road. There is a lot of hassle about overnight stays in some places in Portugal, so be very careful.
Pretty and pleasant spot. However, I would say there are at most two level spaces for vans, and they would have to be side by side. So it is better for one van.
Beautiful, very quiet spot. A few cars in the evening, probably visitors to the sanctuary. Very nice view. The water point has been removed. Ruts at the entrance to the parking area.
Unfortunately, we did not get a visit from the pigs like others mentioned in the comments, but this spot was very pleasant because of its tranquility. The sanctuary was closed when we visited, and we were completely alone. Very clean spot, with bins and drinking water available at the sanctuary 200 m away. Splendid view over the town below and the ocean.
Super cool place, flat, under the trees, with friendly neighborhood (including a mini pig in the morning), wonderful sunset over the ocean, too bad people don't respect the place (LOADS of toilet paper, wipes ... everywhere)
Stone crosses beside the steep road mark the places where motorhomes didn’t make it.
Nice place for one night. There is some traffic on the road to the sanctuary, but not too much. Not all areas are completely level, but we were there with only one other van and found a good shaded spot. Quiet night.
Fantastic place in the forest on top of a hill. Views of the coast and surrounding area. Located next to a sanctuary.
