Been here?
Free shaded wild spot on the Canal de la Garonne with no amenities, holding roughly 5 vehicles. Maximum 16 tonnes (canal bridge restriction). Peaceful despite crowding; terrain is soft or muddy when wet and uneven—better suited to converted vans than large motorhomes. Low branches overhead. Mosquitoes possible. Dogs welcome.

A calm and peaceful place in front of the Garonne. There is certainly plenty of space, and plenty of people too. We had no trouble with our 6.30 m length and 2.80 m height. We were not bothered by mosquitoes at the end of July. A place just as we like them, for the serenity. Clean but without amenities.Translating
Great spot on the banks of the Garonne! We did not hear a single car during the night. There were four vehicles that evening. However, it seems that one or two vehicles have been there for a while, which could look like squatting. A little tip: if you arrive early enough, go a little farther down the lane and you will be more peaceful there :)Translating
It is a place with a lot of people, really not what I want when I go wild camping... even for a picnic there are eight vehicles.Translating
Very quiet place next to the canal. Lower-lying, partly shaded spots with very little traffic. Capacity for five vehicles, overnight stays permitted. Beware of low branches.Translating
We had a pleasant time with the dogs in a 6 m converted van. Be careful: slightly uneven but flat; strongly not recommended for motorhomes. Walk along the canal and, above all, very peaceful. Fishermen along the canal.Translating
It is peaceful and quiet. Certainly one of the best spots for spending a night in the area.Translating
Easy to access, pretty view, quiet. Several of us slept there, but it remained very peaceful. The only drawback was that it rained, so there was a bit of mud in front. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant place.Translating
Good place for the night: it is a cyclists' stop with tools and a pump available. The 16-ton weight limit applies to the bridge over the canal. Easy access, enough room for several motorhomes, and no mosquitoes for us.Translating
Very quiet and pleasant beside the water. The place is fairly busy, but five vehicles can stay relatively far apart.Translating
The spot is occupied year-round by certain vans. The smells probably come more from illegal dumping and toilets emptied into the canal than from dog mess.Translating
Lovely quiet and well-shaded place. The only small issue, if you are sensitive to them, is that there are lots of mosquitoes!Translating
We are here tonight. Five or six motorhomes and vans on site. Quiet and out of the way; beware of branches, but 2.9 m height is fine. Fairly flat ground. A few dog-feces smells, but it is okay.Translating
Quiet, flat, safe, easy to access, and not too far from the motorway for a one-night stop on our journey.Translating
Very beautiful spot beside the canal, at the foot of the cycle path.Translating
We spent one night in this pleasant and quiet place. There were only two vehicles, so everyone had their own space. In the evening there was indeed a smell coming from the canal, but it did not stop us enjoying the place.Translating
We moved on. We arrived late at night and there were already many vehicles. We cannot say what caused it, but there was a nauseating smell when we reached the canal, so we settled a little farther away.Translating
Easy to access and very pleasant. Little or no noise. There is even a technical station available for minor bicycle repairs, with a stand, pump, and tools. This place is clean, even though there is no bin. Let us keep it clean and pleasant.Translating
Great place, quiet, flat, perfect for fishing in the canal and spending one night in the middle of nature.
A quiet spot beside the water. No services. Peaceful and accessible. Some very pleasant sounds of nature. A quiet night.Translating
It is really fantastic for resting, very quiet, shaded, and peaceful. I recommend it.Translating
Wonderful, very quiet place where I was able to stay for several months. The local residents are charming and the town council does not care who parks there as long as the place remains clean. Waking up to birds and hearing them all day is a real pleasure. The paths along the canal offer lovely walks, especially for dogs and cyclists.Translating
