Superb, and once again superb view.Translating
We loved it. Very quiet, no light pollution, clean facilities, and excellent value for money for a meal at the lodge, payable by bank transfer. Pure happiness.Translating
The place is incredible. It lacks nothing: cows, horses, a beautiful view, and all services.Translating
We stayed three nights for the setting, but not because of the manager’s welcome. Our 9.10-meter motorhome got through without any problems; the road is wide and you can easily pass other vehicles. The local beer offered by the lodge is nice, but the pricing makes little sense: €3.80 on the terrace and €2.50 to take away. Numerous hikes are accessible, ranging from 30 minutes to four hours.Translating
A beautifully located place to stay overnight in the valley. Nearby there are cows, horses, donkeys … The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. Payment is cash only. There are also beautiful hiking trails in the area such as the walk to Lac d'Ansabère or the more challenging hike to Lac de Lhurs.
When we finally arrived, there was a sign saying “no overnight stays with a camper.” So we drove away again.Translating
Ideally located for numerous hikes in the Aspe Valley. Friendly welcome. It is advisable to reserve during high season. Very clean facilities. Small convenience shop, with a baker stopping by. Quiet place in a beautiful natural setting. No lighting at night, so you can enjoy the stars. €11 per night for two in our van, without electricity because we had our solar panel.Translating
The place is very beautiful and the access road is good, with no problem for a 7.5-meter motorhome. The surprise was that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH PAYMENT. It is a shame, because we had none and had to leave. Important notice for future visitors: bring cash!Translating
Superb peaceful place, but very little shade. The facilities are recent and well maintained. A van and two adults with electricity cost €16 per night. It is a shame that the manager is so unfriendly; it does not make you want to return. She spoke to us very rudely and was extremely unpleasant. Go to the Lescun campsite, where you will receive a warm welcome; it is a superb campsite, nothing like this one.Translating
We stayed here for four nights at this very beautiful location with wonderful nature and received a super-friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities and all amenities are excellent and clean. We will definitely come back.Translating
Friendly welcome; I received lots of information about the area. The hike to Lescun was great! Cows and horses all around, with a perfect shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine. I enjoyed the nature. It may be difficult for large campers; my 6-meter vehicle was fine. Many bends, but no stress.Translating
The area is in a superb, natural setting, but if you have a dog, know that you cannot hike because it is a national park and dogs are not allowed. Cash payment only.Translating
We have stayed here for several days for the third time. Coming from Accous, there is a cheese shop on the right by the river with delicious cheeses. The hut warden, Marie, is a no-nonsense woman, but very helpful and friendly. Perfect place for people seeking peace and hikers. Fantastic view and a clean toilet area. You can sometimes join a meal, but you must say so in advance. The price is more than worth it.Translating
Super pleasant place with all practical services. Magnificent view, very quiet. We enjoyed watching the sheep return; it was a beautiful spectacle. It is a shame that the person at reception is not always friendly; it depends on the day :))Translating
Completely in love with this place. Very friendly staff, extremely clean facilities, spectacular surroundings, and more than reasonable prices. 100% recommended.Translating
Very beautiful location in an exceptional environment among the Béarn pastures. Recent, very well-maintained facilities, very reasonable price, and good relations with foreign campers. Nevertheless, we felt that we were bothering the manager, unlike her colleague, who was very friendly with everyone.Translating
Very beautiful place to spend the night, with all services included. However, the road is very narrow.Translating
€15 for electricity and great shower and toilet facilities. Beautiful location and really helpful and friendly staff. The cows do ding ding ding but nothing to worry about sleep wise
Excellent location at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Spacious pitches and new facilities. Entry is not allowed until 2 p.m., and departure must be before noon. At this time of year, reservations are recommended because they put up the full sign even when there is still space that could be used.Translating
Very warmly welcomed and well advised about hikes in the area. This well-managed site is very well equipped, with recent and very clean facilities. Especially considering the unbeatable price of €10 without electricity and €15 with it.Translating
Beautiful pitch in the middle of nature, surrounded by mountains. Very nice and friendly operators. We intended to stay one night but ended up staying three days. There are opportunities for hiking or simply relaxing.Translating
Wonderful place! We were parked directly in front of the cows. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. Contrary to other reviews, we did not find the manager unfriendly at all; she was very helpful. Delicious coffee in the morning. Fresh croissants and baguettes are available on Wednesdays. Starting point for many hiking routes. We stayed one week, €10 per night. Gladly again!Translating
Level pitches, friendly welcome on site, and very clean facilities. Wi-Fi is only available in the communal area. The only issue, which is not the site’s fault, is the cows with bells around their necks going ding ding ding all night.
Motorhome area with a beautiful panorama in the mountains. The only neighbors are horses and many cows. Numerous hikes are available. The only drawback is the narrow, winding access road, but it is manageable with a 7-meter motorhome. We will definitely return.
Great place, great location, and friendly welcome :) We were even allowed to stay a little longer because there was little activity in the weather. Sanitary facilities were clean. Unfortunately, the manager became annoyed at the end: we could stay longer, but were asked not to use the sanitary facilities anymore. What a shame; she could have expressed herself more clearly. It ended up feeling like we were being thrown out :(
Superb place; the facilities live up to expectations, and above all, the site is remarkable for its view, tranquility, and walks.
Very beautiful location on the plateau, with beautiful horses as neighbors. €15 with all services. Immaculate shower, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Children’s games. Picnic table beside the stream. Excellent welcome. We recommend it.
Simply magical! The climb is a little stressful, but it is easy with a 7.5-meter vehicle. Then you can enjoy the scenery and animals. Excellent facilities. All for €15 with electricity. Thank you for the welcome.
Unobstructed view over the Hers plateau and its mountains. Peaceful, with a warm welcome. Meals are available by reservation, and it is also advisable to reserve a pitch because it is very popular. For €10: hot showers, toilets, washbasins for dishes, washing machine, and dumping facilities. Electricity costs an additional €5.
A mixed and not very accommodating welcome, but the setting is superb. The facilities are immaculate. Beware of the sometimes very strong wind, which can affect awnings or tents; the plateau is high and exposed to southerly winds.
