42 Route de Lispach, 88250, La Bresse
Been here?
A free parking area beside Lake Lispach with attractive lake views and no stated special restrictions. It is usually quiet overnight, with little traffic, although the road is audible and hikers, cyclists, fishermen, and other visitors arrive from around 7h to 9h. Toilets are about 100 m away on foot in a small building between the two parking areas. Walking trails include the circuit around the lake, and the area can fill with cars during the day.

Really nice place next to the lake, very relaxing, with the possibility of walking around the lake. Good spot, I recommend it.
Magnificent place! Magical at sunrise and sunset, lulled to sleep by the roaring deer of the Vosges mountains. Very, very little traffic at night. Toilets 100 m away on foot. Lake Lispach. Keep the place clean because it is magnificent.
First night in our new van. Great! Toilets are in a small house between the two parking areas, accessible via a small pedestrian path. Thanks to those who described the place well and made it easy for us to find. Quiet night. Little road traffic at night. Many hikers from the morning onward. Magnificent surroundings!
Spent a quiet night here. The road can be heard, but there is little traffic at night. From 8 a.m. onward, hikers and cyclists arrive.
For a first adventure and first night, it is great! The toilets are in a small cottage opposite the lake, between the two parking areas, with a bench—the brown door. It becomes quiet from 7 p.m., and hikers start arriving at 9 a.m. No problem with 4G; reception is available.
Perfect quiet spot to stay overnight. We were here with only two other campers. Fills up quickly during the day with cars for the ski station, but empty at night. Car traffic during the day, but quiet during the night.
A great little spot at the end of summer. Not many people, and a sheltered picnic table. Perfect for one night beside a magnificent lake. A few motorhomes were parked nearby. Prefer the spot a little farther down, Lac de la Tenine; if nobody is there, it is just as memorable, especially waking up to storks and having coffee on the jetty.
Parking beside the road but quiet. It allows you to walk around the magnificent lake, with beautiful hikes nearby.
Very beautiful spot! The best view is in the roadside parking area, but to sleep we parked a little farther from the road in the wider parking area. Slept peacefully. Beautiful walk along the lake! Close to Hohneck; the “grand tour” is well worth walking.
Excellent spot, especially in autumn, when the place looks like the Canadian west. It is quiet and we were alone. Not a sound during the night, but from 7 a.m. fishermen arrived on November 1. The road up there is a little long at night, but the journey is clearly worth it. The walk around Lake Lispach is unmissable. Recommended.
Great place to spend the night, with a lovely view of the lake and little noise despite being close to the road. Many hikers stop here during the day, but nobody is around at night in summer.
Beautiful place to spend one or several days, away from the crowds, with plenty of hiking and mountain biking.
Beautiful, quiet parking area with many hikers. The surroundings are excellent for hiking and cycling, including mountain biking and road cycling. The paved area is sloped. Hardly any traffic, just an occasional vehicle. From 6:30 a.m. there is somewhat more commuter traffic. Mobile reception is mediocre: Telekom is good, o2 and Vodafone not so much. Restaurant/inn 650 m away. Swimming and other activities are prohibited in the lake because it is a raised bog.
