Lakeside area, no shower

Great pitch for one or two nights directly by the lake. The toilet is very clean, but unfortunately there is only one. Automatic toilet cleaning by CamperClean is included in the overnight price. Gray-water disposal is also available. By bicycle, it takes 7 to 8 minutes to reach Östersund city center. Advance booking worked smoothly via the website.

Actually too expensive at around €29. Two toilets, available and clean. Waste disposal and supplies are good. No shower. For almost the same money, I can stay at a campsite. The view of the lake is nice. In my opinion, the location was poorly chosen; the pitch should have been closer to the center. About 20 minutes to the center via a very unattractive route.

Beautifully located site. When we arrived, three spaces were still free, but the app said there were none available. So we went to Östersund Camping, where there were still spaces available.

Unfortunately, it is only a summer site! The place looks great! When you turn the corner with your motorhome, you see the sea and the beautifully designed site. The check-in procedure did not work for us either, so we scanned the municipality’s QR code—and there it was: the site is open from May 1 to September 30!

Good view. Online check-in takes a while and could have been made simpler, but otherwise a great site. The toilets are accessed with a PIN.

To drive onto the site, you have to go through the following procedure: scan the QR code, enter details such as the length of stay and camper length, select a space number, then a summary appears at the bottom of the page. After that, enter your name and other details, accept the terms and conditions, enter your credit card and tap “Pay.” You then receive a PIN for the barrier, toilet, etc.

New area, very well equipped, but in an extremely unfortunate location. It is true that it is right on the lake, but it is on the edge of an industrial area, behind the Inlandsbanan railway’s major repair workshops. Far from the center, among construction sites and aggregate depots.

We wanted to empty our cassette toilet here, but that is only possible if you have the park’s code. As a passerby, you cannot pay separately for it. Too bad—it would have been useful.

I do not know what is supposed to be so nice about this parking area. It is simply loud—far too loud.

For the second time in a row, we are staying at this camper site with its beautiful view over the water. If you want to stay here, it is advisable to book in advance via the Stellpy website. After booking, you receive a code to open the barrier on arrival and access the toilet.

Very nice motorhome pitch—new and fresh. Some people find it complicated to activate the electricity, but if you follow the instructions there are no problems. The lack of a shower is what lowers the rating to four stars.

Very nice place with a view of Lake Storsjön. What lowered the rating to three stars was the difficulty getting electricity; in the end, we gave up! We stayed overnight and then left. Tip: make sure you have plenty of gas.

We slept here for three nights. The area is quite quiet and the view of the water is beautiful. Emptying the toilet cassette with the machine is very easy and convenient. However, the fresh water is not recommended—it is sandy and chlorinated. It is best to drive north of Östersund for this (Park4Night - 831 52).

The place is indeed right by the lake, but for 70 SEK more there is a nearby campsite with showers and electricity included.

Clean and easy to book. Increased traffic in the morning. It is just a shame that the area is completely empty.

We only wanted to use the supply and disposal facilities. Last year that worked without problems. Now the facilities are blocked by a barrier, and you would have to book a space to get in. That is a great shame, Östersund.

A perfectly equipped, very clean motorhome pitch. Black-water disposal via CamperClean—and completely free. You can check the location in advance on Maps; complaining about it afterward is simply foolish. There is a good bicycle route along the lake in parts.

The view is beautiful, but the location between the railway tracks and the water is not ideal. Note: be sure to check online beforehand whether spaces are available and can be booked. On site, spaces may appear free but still not be bookable.

Eight pitches on the shore of Lake Storsjön, newly laid out. Equipped with a barrier; check-in is online, and electricity can also be booked online. There is a free CamperClean and a well-designed gray-water disposal facility. Unfortunately, the pitches are quite sloped.

Gorgeous view but you cannot access the services without booking minimum an overnight stay (if there are spots available), so I just enjoyed the view and moved along.

250 SEK for a paved pitch, excluding electricity at 3.7 SEK per kWh, is somewhat overpriced for what you get. The sanitary facilities are clean. Very quiet during the day; from 9 p.m. it seems to become a drag-racing route. The site owner cannot help that, of course.
