This is a small, sloping grassy parking bay on a lightly used road, suitable for 1 van and useful for reaching Preikestolen early the next morning. It is not suitable for large campers. A small river lies below, but passing traffic caused repeated honking during the night and locals appeared unwelcoming.

Small grassy spot on a slope. Ideal for one van and for hiking to Preikestolen early the next morning. Glad to find a free place.
It is fine for spending the night if you plan to climb Preikestolen the following morning; the space is not suitable for large campers.
The spot does the job. There is a small river below and it is quite charming. One of the few places where the no-camping prohibition is not signposted. They are not especially fond of us here; cars passing by honked several times during the night.
