Seaside area, short stay

My opinion is not about the area but about the people. It is lamentable that there are no departures of motorhomes every day. There is no respect for the rules or for others. Selfishness comes first.

Nobody respects the 24-hour limit, so you cannot find a place.

Wonderful. It is a neat area, with the village right there and next to a cove. There are few places, and it is important to respect the 24-hour limit so that everyone can enjoy it.

I would give the area a 5, but the people a 1. If it says 24 hours, it does not mean several days. Heavy fines—that is how we will learn. We cannot stay because there is no space.

The place is spectacular. Some people’s behavior is not. Respect the rules of each place; it is not difficult... and stop bringing out chairs, tables, and clotheslines.

The service for emptying and filling water tanks is good, very good. We could not stay overnight because it was full; it seems that people spend more than one day there.

The area is fantastic, with incredible views, but I think it is terrible that people ignore the rules. If it says 24 hours, whether the stay is short or long, they must be followed, and others should be allowed to enjoy the place and village. Some motorhomes have clearly been there many days. A fine would put an end to their selfishness. They will make it paid because of these people.

The area has a lot of potential, but we were a little disappointed. Some people seem to treat it as a real campsite, despite the restrictions in force. In addition, the nearby aluminum smelter sometimes gives the air a rather unusual smell. We eventually decided to move on.

Very good area with all services; the village is very beautiful. The only negative point is that parking is limited to 24 hours, although many people had been there for days.

In the end, this will happen everywhere. Many people park for weeks, or they make the areas paid, which is already happening.

Personally, I will now spend my money in another village. The restrictions they have introduced are very strict, and of course I have no intention of going to the campsite, because it must have something to do with these rules they have imposed.

Twenty-four hours is far too little to enjoy the village, its restaurants, go shopping, get to know the village properly, and visit its beaches. They should remember that motorhome travelers spend money, and the minimum should be 72 hours.

Thanks to the village for the area; we had a wonderful, peaceful night with a beautiful view. I give it four stars. Looks like the long stayers have caused the current rules to be implemented, 6 years ago a wonderful location for a day or one night, returned last year to an encampment of selfish people who are there long term....spoiling it for everyone else....now I just don't visit there, where will be next..

Area with great views. Interesting village with good beaches. Spaces are in high demand. Twenty-four hours is really too little time to enjoy the beaches and explore the village’s restaurants. The bakery is open only in the morning. There is a small Spar supermarket where we were able to buy some things we needed. Thank you to the village for providing this space.

Splendid area with a superb view. Regarding the 24-hour limit, we and other campers stayed for more than one day. The police came by and said nothing to anyone, not even about tables, chairs, and awnings. There were also many more than 10 vehicles, outside the permitted spaces. Everything was tolerated, perhaps because of the season.

Attention: new rules in the municipal area of San Ciprián, Lugo. Ten spaces. Maximum 24 hours within 30 days. Twenty-four hours is too little time to visit this locality and enjoy its food and beaches. The area is good, but the conditions of use are very restrictive.

Thanks to the village for the area; it is something many municipalities lack. Even so, there is an excellent campsite in the village where we will certainly stay whenever we come.

Many thanks to the city for the free services: grey-water, black-water, and fresh-water drainage and filling. However, it was impossible to stop overnight because the area was full. It seems some people stay much longer than the 24-hour maximum, which is a shame because not everyone follows the rules.

Great place and an excellent service area!

Twenty-four hours is only enough to sleep. We motorhome travelers like to get to know the village, enjoy the beach and a good meal, go to the hairdresser, and so on. Four days would be the least. We are not a fast-moving road runner or a bus that only stops to sleep. Has the campsite done its calculations? Not everything should be prohibited.

In 24 hours, you cannot enjoy what the village offers—its beaches, bars, restaurants, and people. If this does not change, I am sorry for its businesses, because it is a beautiful village we loved visiting and especially enjoying for its cuisine. The minimum stay should be three days. For one day, it is not worth going.

We only stopped briefly to empty and fill the water tanks. It honestly has great views, places to walk the dogs, and is close to the village. Just what is needed.

It is a shame they do not know how to manage the area. In my opinion, they should charge a small fee and set a maximum stay of 72 hours. That way we would continue visiting and spending money in their wonderful village, and there would be turnover. The only thing the campsite and town hall will achieve is harming the bars, restaurants, and shops.

Beautiful place with a wonderful view of the town of San Cibrao and the Atlantic coast. We arrived late in the afternoon and stayed until the next morning. Exactly what the camper area is intended for, so other motorhome travelers also have the chance to enjoy a pleasant day here.

It is a shame to lose this area because of such strict restrictions, but the ones who will surely feel it most are the restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and all the businesses where we spend our money. There is no need to be so strict; they could charge €5 per day and per motorhome, as other areas do. I hope they reconsider for everyone’s benefit.

Zero attitude from the current councillor and mayor, who are very friendly with the owner of the nearby campsite. It is obvious.

Well, I am sorry for the good neighbors, but a 24-hour stay is only enough to spend the night, not to explore a village and enjoy its beach, bars, and restaurants. Until they change the regulations, I do not intend even to pass through the village.

Today, May 18, 2026, they put up a sign limiting stays to a maximum of 24 hours within 30 days, as well as limiting parking to 10 spaces and prohibiting caravans, vans, and similar vehicles that are not motorhomes. I come to this village often, throughout the year, but under these conditions I will go to others that make staying easier and where I can spend my money.

We arrived early and chose a space at the far end, parking nose-in. You really do not feel like turning the seats around there. What a beautiful view. May the effort made here somehow be worthwhile.

Good spot facing the sea, all services are excellent. Thanks to the municipality. The downside is the permanent motorhomes, probably because they lack space at home—four out of eleven spaces.

Magnificent view. Quiet. Beautiful hiking trail toward the church shown on the map. Beaches with white sand. The harbor restaurant's octopus is excellent.

Beautiful, quiet spot right by the sea and close to the small town. The ten spaces are not completely level, but okay. Water and waste facilities are available. Already well visited in April.

Wonderful camper spot with absolutely all amenities. The sea view is beautiful and it is close to the quiet town. Delimited spaces. Beautiful surroundings and great walking opportunities. And it is peaceful. Full praise to this municipality. There is a large, beautiful grass field in front of the camper area where you can sit.
