Roadside lay-by, locals object overnight

A cut-in layby at the entrance to the woods with space for two motorhomes. It is very close to the road, although traffic was not too busy. Overnight parking previously caused no problems, but locals have recently objected during the night despite there being no signs restricting parking.

Couple of locals beeped at us during the night, some loca busybody loudly moaning to her friend outside about how we’re not allowed here (though there are no signs). I reckon this place will have some kind of restrictions before too long. Very close to road.
Close to Road but traffic not too busy, stopped here overnight no problems no signs restricting parking.
