Far too expensive!
What a shame that this area has become a Camping-Car Park. Apart from shopping in the village, we used to spend money in the cafés... We are very disappointed and will no longer stop in Puylaurens.
Every year we spent a week in Puylaurens. We went shopping at the market, in the small village, and every morning to the bakery at the first roundabout... It is a shame that this area has become paid. The municipality should think about it. We will no longer come to Puylaurens.
We used to stop here every year on our way to and from treatment. We went to the village for bread, to the butcher for sausages, and to Intermarché for groceries. What a shame for the local businesses. The price is too high—what a waste. I hope the town hall will reconsider.
Very unfortunate. We were here 3 years ago and wanted to stop again, but it is now a Camping-Car Park. Such a shame! We drove on.
Well just checked in again here, and still a CCP So like so many other regulars we didn't stop. I hope Puylaurens soon realise what they are loosing FYI there is a campsite just North of here That has full amenities, electricity, showers, toilets etc And it's cheaper
I used to come to Puylaurens for an average of 4 weeks a year for several years. Unfortunately, the municipality chose a different management system for this area, much to my regret, because I could access it free of charge with my motorhome and trailer. Today it has become paid, and trailers with cars are prohibited. So, no more stopovers in this superb village.
We paid €20, which is not exactly cheap. When we woke up, there was no electricity anymore at any of the pitches. Disappointing.
A wonderful discovery: an area with all services, generously sized pitches, and a village with all nearby shops. If you are a food lover, you will appreciate it here! Marianne’s walking trail is excellent, and soon the only museum dedicated to Marianne will be here. This village deserves a stop.
Been using this Aire for years. At least 2 or 3 times a year. Now taken over by "CampingCarParks" at €14 per night. I WILL NOT BE BACK Shame on you Puylaurens for allowing this.
Camping-Car Park area. Easy access.
No problem. Since the municipality chose to charge motorhome users, we will do our shopping elsewhere. For me, the principle of give-and-take still applies.
For more than 10 years, I was accustomed to staying here three times a year to do all my essential shopping before traveling to remote areas of the Pyrenees. Unfortunately, because of the paid policy imposed by the municipality, I will now stop somewhere more welcoming. A shame for the quality of service provided by the local businesses and the friendly person who started this place.
€14 without electricity is too expensive.
A loyal visitor to the region and its shops since 2012, but turning it into a Camping-Car Park at €14 is too expensive for the village and businesses. I will not return.
Camping-Car Park! €12! What a shame for the village and its excellent businesses—bakeries, pizza, butcher, swimming pool... We were regular visitors. We will not return.
The area is far too expensive for this village.
The area used to be free; charging a small fee would have been acceptable, but this? The area is far too expensive for the services offered. Choose Lautrec, 15 km away, in the heart of the Tarn. I am from Puylaurens and I said this would happen.
At this price the spaces will often be empty. A more moderate price would be wiser, because an empty park is useless. It is a loss for nearby businesses, while Camping-Car Park takes the monopoly on motorhome areas. A shame for us.
Area under construction and being converted into a Camping-Car Park. What a shame.
Thank you to the municipality for this very pleasant place. Please note that the area is closed from June 16 to July 25 for improvement works.
Thank you to the municipality for these free services. A quiet and pleasant area. We only emptied our tanks, but the place is shaded and would be pleasant for sleeping.
The GPS point shown is incorrect. With my 4.5-ton vehicle, I made it up, but the gravel is indeed not a good idea. Thank you to the town hall for allowing us to stop here free of charge. GPS point: 43.56887, 2.01256
Very quiet, with a good bakery in town. Recommended.
Quiet area near the cemetery and municipal sports hall. A small path leads uphill on foot from the area to the village. Perfect for a peaceful night. Unfortunately, the village has little tourist interest, but the bakery is excellent and the walk around the pond is pleasant. Many thanks to the municipality for this generous free facility, which was very useful to us.
I am returning to this area for the third time. The climb was not difficult with my 7.5-meter motorhome.
Perfect for one night, in our case on the way to Toulouse. The steep slope mentioned is ridiculously small, with no problem going up or down. Flat, designated pitches. The water pressure is low, which is the only drawback. Very quiet night. No shade in summer. Beware: the GPS took us along a goat track; follow the sign directions just before the square at the other P.
A very quiet, perfect night here. Thank you to the town hall.
