This former spot was a large, flat, very quiet area at the end of a dead-end path beside the river, with easy turning. Since July 2024, all free-standing overnight stays in the municipality of Bessans have been absolutely prohibited. The former free-parking locations are no longer possible.

WARNING! Since July 2024, wild camping is completely prohibited in the municipality of Bessans. The police are friendly but consistent. All the former beautiful free-camping spots are NO LONGER POSSIBLE!
