Remote moorland, uneven ground

I had an amazing evening here. Beautiful sunset up behind the hill and again in the morning across the fields. A guy in a blue van played music pretty loud till 2:30am and ran a generator for most of the evening and early morning. Not threatening at all but pretty inconsiderate

One of the quietest stops we've been to! Hardly any vehicles passed, just the sound of birds sheep and cattle and incredible views and strong 4g signal Not very level, but a well placed wheel in a pothole works wonders. shame about the litter - we collected about 20 empty cans and bottle, but wouldn't touch the many toilet tissues

Lovely area, the views were fab the rd was quiet three cars passed all night. Another car with tentbox rocked up which was fine. very sadly rubbish everywhere, and if like us you have one or more dogs with a poop radar then don't let them roam, there was plenty of it and toilet roll. plus general rubbish. Such a shame this is becoming more the norm . Let down for such a peaceful park up.

great spot but in a very remote location

Fantastic night and morning. Arrived before sunset and sat outside for a while. Once it was getting dark moved into my van and sat and read for a few hours. Only two cars drove up the lane the whole time. Such a quiet place, heard nothing all night. Got up and made coffee and breakfast and once again sat outside in the sunshine. Very little traffic driving past. Beautiful views of the moorlands.

Looks very quiet, beautiful views. Clean enough. Internet speed is, somehow, now better than I've ever had, at 200 mbps. Unfortunately, I need a walk for my dog that's not over roads, and the national path just off it is impossible to find (the beginning is, but not the continuation). Heading to Ramshaw Rocks instead.

Really quite spot with fantastic views, we didn’t hear a car go past all night and we were the only van here, most of the car park is not very level but not too bad at the top end.

Didn't want to stay here rubbish beer bottles and toilet roll everywhere. The dead sheep ? finished us off. Pretty uneven and would be difficult to get close to level. Real shame that people leave such mess behind them(not saying it's campers). Moved on 4 miles to back of the rocks which is much nicer.

Stunning spot with fabulous views and quiet as a mouse all night. We were 1 of 4 vans for the night. We saw kestrels,Buzzards, Thrush and we heard Cuckoo. Not at all level.

Good stop, great views. it was very quiet, relatively flat and beautiful views! The only let down was the left rubbish, mainly beer bottles, condoms and used tissue. I doubt this has been done by van users!

10/10 view, peaceful road and relatively level ground. Hard standing ground. Will be back!
