This is a quiet parking area beside a stream and the starting point for the La Rhune hiking trail. The river can be heard clearly, while the nearby road is busy during the day and some cars arrive early for the hike. An auberge across the road offers breakfast for 12€.

Very peaceful at this time of year! Very nice inn for breakfast, €12.
We slept very well, but very early in the morning cars arrived to climb La Rhune. We are in a van with a roof tent; there is a stream, so while waiting we could hear it a lot. Apart from that, a very good, quiet and pleasant spot. A few cars pass on the nearby road at night, but not many. Very decent spot.
We spent one night in this parking area—very good! We arrived in the evening and there was only one vehicle; when we woke up, people had arrived, but it was still quiet.
Small parking area well located for starting the hike up La Rhune along the GR10. Very busy road nearby during the day, but the night is very quiet. Bar-restaurant across the road.
