7 Rue Plaisance, 1227, Carouge
Been here?
Quiet industrial-area free white-line street parking near Carouge, popular with campers despite fitting only a few vehicles. Spaces fill fast, especially by mid-morning, so arriving early or checking a nearby overflow spot helps; that alternative is busier and worse. Access suits large vehicles, and it's about 20 minutes from central Geneva by tram. Nights are quiet once nearby car dealerships close, though it can feel very full during the day.

A lot of white spaces near the centre. Looks very popular. Industrial vibes, but it was very quiet after the car dealerships closed. A local guy confirmed it is free to park there. The other nearby free spot was ten times worse: busier and with fewer spaces.
It was very full, but quiet at night. It was a good place for one night. You could get into the city by train within 20 minutes.
Many perpendicular parking spaces with some motorhomes parked there, but everything was completely full (Monday at 11:00). It doesn't cost much to take a look anyway, in case there is a space. Access is good for large vehicles.
