Waren Mill, NE70 7EE, Belford
Been here?
A quiet woodland campsite with clean but basic sanitary facilities, a small shop selection and a children’s adventure playground. The coastal path passes the site, and the sea is about 900m away; an onsite pizza place is also available. Recent arrivals found the staff accommodating, but vehicles without side windows may be classed as commercial and refused access to the main site. There is no mobile phone signal onsite, and one recent spontaneous stay cost £44.

Arrived unannounced however the staff were really accommodating, nice clean showers, great washing up area, kids adventure playground, all amenities for motorhome, nice clean friendly site, will visit again
Nice campsite not too expensive the time of year we visited. Good facilities
Nice site with decent facilities. I'm only giving it three stars and as a heads up to others: it is stated on the website but they will not let you park on the main site if you don't have side windows in your vehicle. They class it as "commercial". Been all around the UK to official campsites in my converted Transit and never had that before.
We are giving only three stars because we find the site too expensive. Arriving spontaneously with our 6 m motorhome, we were charged £44. The sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. Overall, much of the place seems rather makeshift. The sea is about 900 m away, measured, and there is no beach nearby. The operators are friendly!
Peaceful campsite and friendly staff. Showers were warm and fairly clean, had to keep pushing the shower every 30 seconds to come back on. Pizza place onsite and the coastal path goes past the site. However we thought the £4.50 a night for one dog was a bit expensive. No phone signal onsite.
Very nice campsite in the forest; the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but clean. A pizza baker is just behind the fence in the forest. We were welcomed very warmly, even without a booking. Quiet. Bring a flashlight!
It's fine. Basic facilities. Showers are annoying as have to keep hand on tap as second you let go water stops. Kept responsible clean. Pitches very cramped. No laundry services. No wifi. No reception on mobile I'm either O2. Nothing around without driving or cycling.
Good facilities and courteous staff. The only campsite we found in this region at a reasonable price.
15 pounds a night with a beautiful view of lindisfarne and the beach beautiful!!!!
thanks Peter and co for a great stay. lovely toilets customer service top notch. will stay again. great site for all size campers. say quiet site that's exactly what you get.
On our route from Dover to Edinburgh, we stopped for one night with our 7 m motorhome, two adults and two children, including electricity, for £35.50. Showers and toilets were absolutely fine. We arrived in the dark and left again first thing in the morning.
A very quiet location with good clean facilities. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The area is great for walkers with Holy island near by.
A two night stay in November. Site was very quiet. Facilities were functional but tired although we were told these are going to be upgraded over the winter. A great location near Budle Bay and on the coastal path. We walked to Bamburgh and back. Quiet at night which was lovely.
