Lake viewpoint, overnight ban

The place is enchanting, with a splendid view of the lake. We stopped for the night; the local police passed by several times and saw us without even stopping. In the morning it is not very sunny because the mountains block the sun. Extremely quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature.

We stopped for lunch; we were alone at this great spot with an incredible view and a little shade. It is 10 minutes by car when leaving from the northern entrance to Caminito del Rey.

A magnificent view of the El Chorro reservoir. We stopped here for lunch because overnight parking is not allowed—what a shame, as it is a beautiful place.

Stayed here for 1 night but moved on by police, not allowed to camp in this area!!

Directly next to "Hidropedales y kayak bahia" which rent kayaks out. It was a beautiful tour, no people, no houses - just nature! I would totally recommend it! Kayak for 2 person: 12€/hour

Amazing location! For a sufficiently high-clearance van, you can reach a splendid spot overlooking the lake where you are practically alone... Excellent for maximum relaxation, enjoying something nice to eat or drink and taking a swim in solitude!

Easy acces for a camper van (6.5m), watch out for low hanging trees. Beautiful lake view, but nu services. Place 61244 is nearby for a swim but not reachable for a car from October until may.

Nice, but far too many flies. I have never seen anything like it; I left.

A great site; barely had we arrived when the Guardia Civil descended on us, explaining that parking at the site is prohibited.

Great spot with a beautiful view of the reservoir. Despite the road, it was very quiet, and there are opportunities for some lovely walks nearby.
