Moulin Massard offers three camper pitches beside a stream in the Ardennes, at a historic mill restored in 2022. The setting is quiet, with nearby forest walking and cycling routes, and the pitches may require levelling blocks. The price is €10/24 hours or an equivalent bakery purchase; mill tours and beer are available, but the watermill is currently defective.

Very warm welcome at the old mill. Fascinating tour. Great Belgian beer. An idyllic spot beside the babbling stream. The cars on the distant road were not disturbing. Great cycling and hiking trails. We would love to return when the mill wheels start turning again in October and we can try all the delicious baked goods. Many thanks for this wonderful place!
Definitely worth repeating! We were warmly welcomed at a very peaceful place with plenty of space. The stream is certainly a bonus. The tour was given with great passion, which made it very interesting. The beer is delicious too. At the end of the year, I will definitely try to come back for the flour.
A quiet night on the site beside the stream. Bring leveling blocks. Many thanks to Jean-Marie Massard for the very interesting and highly fascinating tour of his mill! We will gladly return when the mill is operating again, among other things to buy flour. Excellent Bigoute beer.
Thanks to the owner for his welcome and for the tour of the mill. It is a shame that you cannot produce flour before the wheel is repaired, around October. According to my husband, the craft beer made at the mill is very good. Wishing you continued success.
We were given a very warm welcome by the Massard family, even though we had registered at very short notice. The site is beautiful, right beside a small stream, and a hike through the surrounding forest is highly recommended. All around, a very pleasant stay, highly recommended, and we will certainly return if it is on our route.
A nice location and very well organised. A short cycle to train into Amsterdam also great cafe area in Weesp 5 kms away so an easy bike ride. Very quiet rural area. All facilities very clean. Great value for money.
Superb, peaceful place beside a stream. The owners are very friendly! Proud of their heritage, they give a very interesting tour of the mill, and don't miss the delicious beer.
Cheap, perfect place. We called ahead and the miller and his wife were waiting for us when we arrived. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful night. The watermill was broken, but the next morning we got a tour from an enthusiastic miller. He also brought us a freshly baked loaf. Top location! We will definitely return.
Absolutely recommended. Great quiet location beside a small babbling stream. Large motorhomes fit here comfortably. We called ahead and had the place entirely to ourselves. We got a tour of the old mill in perfect English from Monsieur Massard's grandson. Afterwards, we bought ice-cold beer there. The alpacas are also very close by. TOP!
Great spot next to a stream, and a very friendly host. We spent 3 nights here and bought products (flour, a bread and beer) for that price. We also got a nice tour of the mill. The last night there were 5 campers, that was a bit much to be honest. 3 or max 4 is the perfect amount. Host is reachable via WhatsApp for reservations. Amazing cycling and MTB trails closeby. We will 100% come back.
What a fantastic place! Warm welcome, and at night you can hear the stream babbling. During the tour of the old mill, you can see that Monsieur Massard still has a passion for this traditional craft! 100% worth a trip. I highly recommend shopping at the little store! Registering before arrival is advisable, as all 3–4 spots were occupied here, even in April.
The welcome, the spot, the people—everything is truly great! The tour of the mill and the anecdotes told with passion give this place a special charm. We found what we wanted in the shop: two beers and two bags of flour made on site.
A very nice place for self-sufficient overnight stays, with plenty of opportunities for walking. The owner is very friendly and deeply committed to preserving his mill. Google Translate also made the tour of the mill possible. He sells good flour at a fair price.
Beautiful place at a farmer's property who also has a baker's mill. His grandson gave us a tour, which was very enjoyable, and we bought flour there. The pitch is then free. There are no facilities, but if you take that into account beforehand, it is not a problem.
A little corner of paradise by the water. And as a bonus, a tour of the mill explained passionately by its owner. The night is free with any purchase at the mill. The Bigoute is delicious for an aperitif by the water.
What a top spot! A pitch on a small grassy field by the water, alongside cows and calves. The owner speaks lovingly about his mill, flour, and beer. The beer is very tasty, by the way. We will definitely come back here.
Lovely spot beside the water flowing to the mill, with two cows and their calves. We received a friendly welcome and had the tour. It is wonderful to see this old mill being restored and brought back to life. Naturally, we bought flour to take home and beer for here. Recommended.
We had a great stay here. On a small field beside the stream, with a few cows in the neighboring barn. The welcome was very friendly, and we got a tour of the beautiful old watermill. We bought a large bottle of the beer and, in hindsight, should have bought a few more—it was really delicious! Great place to stay.
Great place, great contact with Jean-Marie! If you have the chance to meet him, ask him for a tour of the mill—it is absolutely worth the detour! Jean-Marie is passionate and will take you back several centuries. The pitches are very large and pleasant, and above all it is very quiet. An alpaca farm is just a few steps away. The Bigoute is excellent.
The perfect location! Peace, space, and an incredibly kind host. We got a tour of the watermill, bought two delicious beers, and enjoyed the evening. Highly recommended!
