Been here?
Small off-grid campsite in the hills, about a 20-minute drive from Bologna, surrounded by protected countryside and wildlife. It has three camper spaces for vehicles up to 7 meters, with electricity up to 16 amps for an additional €5 per day and water hookups without drainage. Facilities include a camping kitchen, dry bathroom, outdoor shower, Wi-Fi and communal areas. The steep, unpaved and potholed access road can be difficult for some vehicles, and the upper pitches have little shade.

Beautiful Scandinavian-style place. The lovely owner speaks French, English, and Italian. Difficult to find, with an access road that is difficult for some vehicles. For people with reduced mobility, a good wheelchair is needed to get around; there are two steps to access the bathroom. Few mosquitoes. Effective Wi-Fi. Friendly dog.
Beautiful place! Friendly owners, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, clean and cozy facilities - toilets, kitchen, dining table, lounge. Lots of little places to hang out in. Beautiful surroundings for a little hike and on and on… I could go on forever - long story short - and amazing place with a soul. Thank you and highly recommend:)
Super beautiful eco-campsite. The owners collect rainwater themselves and reuse it throughout the site. Small pool available free of charge. €35 for a camper and two people. Cute farm shop where you can take water and make your own coffee. Points deducted for the access road, which is very steep and rocky. Contact the owner beforehand.
Beautiful place to spend the night. We were there with a car and rooftop tent; it was fine getting up, but with a camper it seems challenging. The road is very steep and full of potholes. One toilet and shower shared by everyone, and this caused no problems. Very friendly owners. Recommended.
The welcome was pleasant and Roberto speaks French. Be aware that the access road is gravel and rocky and climbs steeply; we struggled with our van. There is also no shade on the upper pitches. We found a small shaded spot below. There are many pleasant communal areas, but only one shower/toilet for everyone, plus a dry toilet. The night was quiet.
This is a stunning campsite. The owners are incredible and the facilities are amazing. There’s a beautiful hike right out of the garden and there’s showers, toilets and a lovely communal indoor space with WiFi. The road is bumpy, I am in a 5.5m 2022 automatic Ford transit, I went slow, and it was absolutely no problem. I will definitely be back! Make sure to call ahead and make sure they have space.
This is a fantastic site! In the middle of nature, with a great self-sufficient energy concept! The road up is somewhat bumpy but very manageable, especially with a camper van. In return, there is a great view of the hills. It is very quiet, yet there is a great community among the guests. It will certainly be a stop again on our next trip!
Sorry, but the road here is anything but safe! It is marked as a 10% incline, but it is certainly steeper, with potholes, bumps, and a gravel road. Once you are on that road, you cannot turn back! After about 700 meters, we arrived at the top only to hear that there was no space left. If you still want to attempt this campsite, I recommend going farther up first to check whether there is room.
We spent two pleasant nights there at the beginning of May. Very nice hosts and beautiful pitches. The access was somewhat bumpy but easy to drive. Good connection from the nearest town by train to Bologna. Gladly again!
Wonderful view, great and clean facilities, and a very friendly, accommodating operator. The bumpy road to the top is absolutely worth it!
Nice spot! Super nice family. Perfect little walk you can do directly from the camp side especially for people with dogs. Showers and restrooms are good, super nice views. You can walk to the town, it takes 10 minutes down, 15 minutes up. Pizza place is good.
The place is wonderful. Immersed in nature and with excellent connections to the city. For us, it turned out to be the ideal place to stop when we are near Bologna. Heartfelt thanks to Roberto and his family, who always welcome us as part of the family.
We were warmly welcomed by Roberto and his partner. Perfect pitch in the middle of nature. Access to sanitary facilities. His project is fantastic. We highly recommend this place for a stay and will return without hesitation! Thank you for everything!
Beautiful pitch for several campers. The access is easy. It is a lovely place, still under construction, designed ecologically and sustainably, and suitable for visiting Bologna (45 minutes). Roberto is a very courteous and attentive host. Disadvantages: the site gets very muddy after rain. The internet did not work.
Stunning family-owned campsite, with a cozy atmosphere. Very sustainable-focused, and the owners are very friendly.
Wow! These people are the best! What a beautiful place! Such a great project - we will come back for sure!
We had a pleasant night with Roberto and his family. Roberto is a pleasant person with a very good and sustainable off-grid campsite. Everything you need is available. From the hill there is a beautiful view of the area. We had good conversations, including about camper conversions. Definitely worth visiting if you support the idea of sustainability.
We stayed for one night in the low season with our small caravan at Roberto’s. The track was somewhat bumpy but manageable. Roberto is very friendly and helpful. He and his family have a great sustainable outlook.
Very friendly operator! Somewhat bumpy, steep gravel access through the forest. Great pitches with wonderful views of the Tuscan landscape. A nice short hike is possible. Facilities are very basic but clean. Unfortunately somewhat remote, so you think twice about going down again on foot or by vehicle. Nevertheless, we liked it for one night en route.
