Canal parking, no services

Small parking area at the end of a dead-end street along the canal. Three or four spaces facing the forest, behind the trees; a picnic table is available. Very quiet, with only a few runners and cyclists in the morning on the cycle path between the parking area and the canal. Surprisingly, no mosquitoes at all.

Very nice place by the pond, fairly quiet. We stayed one night and enjoyed the view of the lake, swans, and ducks. At night you can hear the animals, so if you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. However, there are no facilities at all—no toilets, water, etc. Bins are available, so remember to use them.

Lunch stop. Quiet area beside the Loing Canal. Cycle path for going on hikes. Picturesque setting.

I live in the area and have a motorhome. Beware at night... Montargis, Châlette, Vésines and Cepoy... isolated parking areas serve as meeting places for drug dealers. A travelers’ camp is nearby.

Would recommend. A particularly scenic spot with room for up to three vans. No amenities/facilities are available but there is a public toilet within a 2/3 minute drive.

Lovely quiet spot near the water with a very large parking area! Bins and benches available, very clean! Telethon weekend with a fishing contest! Fishermen and cyclists around. There is activity on the water!

We spent the night with the caravan. It is possible to turn around on site—we managed with a Scenic and a 6.6-meter caravan. Extremely quiet, very close to the canal. Houses are nearby, but it is very peaceful.

Great place along the canal and the cycle path! Let’s be discreet; there are homes behind it.

Nice spot, large enough for 3 motorhomes (one motorhome with a trailer, a second without one, and a van when we were there). Access is easy, even though the road is not very wide. We spent a very quiet night here. Indeed, do not park in front of the barrier; city employees came by to check.
