We parked for a few hours to visit and swim. Perfect place with lots of space. Go all the way to the point in the historic centre; the village is magnificent! Flat parking area, quiet at night, a 30–45-minute walk from Sirmione Castle. There are restaurants and pizzerias in the area. The signs suggest it is paid from 7 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and holidays, but when we went there on Tuesday 23 February, the meter said “parking free of charge.”✦Translating

On Sunday 22 February we received a fine. I emailed and called the responsible office, showing that the signs displayed incorrect information. I was told that the fine would be cancelled. Anyone who has received a fine should contact the responsible office; you can find the information on the ticket. Otherwise, the parking is convenient and quiet. We had a pleasant overnight stay. There were three other campers. The machine says: “No payment parking” / “Sosta non a pagamento” / “Kein Zahlungsparkplatz.” So it is free! :-) Apparently you only have to pay on Sundays, judging by the last three messages from 22 February and the one from 8 February.

Currently great for overnight stays: quiet and free; the EasyPark app shows nothing. In high season it costs €45, which is expensive given the lack of services. The castle and water are nearby and easily reachable on foot. The nearest grocery store is about a 20-minute walk away.✦Translating

Great place. Quiet and peaceful. We felt safe, with several campers nearby. Free during this period. The parking meter indicates that there is no charge at this time. A rubbish bin is available, but there are no other amenities. Recommended.

Payment information for this site was impossible to find, it appears free but there are comments here saying people have been fined for not paying even in winter. All the municipal website says is that it's metered. Maybe if you had the parking app it would have been possible to find out more.

Free until 28 February, spacious and reasonably maintained, 15 minutes from the centre. Spacious and quiet. Definitely worthwhile, also because Sirmione is wonderful and one of the few camper-friendly places on Lake Garda. Some inconsiderate people left a bit of rubbish here and there despite the bins at the entrance… If we want to be welcomed as we deserve, we must first deserve it!

Stayed two nights; everything was good.

Far away from the old town in a very bland carpark. But when we visited on a Saturday daytime (January) it was free. Not sure why. Glad we didn't have to pay... It's a shame that the other old park isn't available in off season.

It is very far from the old town, about a 40-minute walk. There is a much closer car park, the former caravan parking area, where parking is not allowed and they issue fines or charge excessive prices. On the other hand, it is well worth visiting, as both the old town and the castle are beautiful.

You always have to pay, even at night!!! You must select the camper tariff. Only when choosing “car” is overnight parking free, but that becomes expensive. It is strictly controlled! Since this is the only place to park in winter, there is no alternative. But it is very expensive for “nothing.”

All things considered, it is okay… You always pay, including for campers, and the €3/hour rate is a bit excessive. It is free only from midnight to 7 a.m. You can pay through the EasyPark app for several days, and it automatically calculates the free overnight hours. Two kilometres from the historic centre.

As of 18 December, parking was free. A 30-minute walk from the old town. Very suitable parking for motorhomes and the only place to park, since all the other car parks prohibit motorhomes.

On gravel, a little dreary but free. The centre can be reached on foot in 15–20 minutes.

Avoid this place because the dishonest municipal officer fined us even though we had paid €30 and displayed the ticket, clearly showing its location. We were fined €59.40.

Warning! The car park is not free from November to March either!! Many campers were fined today because of unclear signs! The traffic warden who issued the fines mocked us, saying we should look for information online. On top of that, he did not even leave the printed ticket on the windscreen, so it will arrive by post with additional shipping charges!
