Unnamed Road, 881 52, Sollefteå
Been here?
This is a riverside rest area with a viewing platform, picnic tables, playground and attractive surroundings. Cassette emptying was possible recently, but the toilets and disposal have also been reported out of service. Overnight stays are limited to 12h, although loud music from young people makes nights unsuitable, and traffic can be heard. The parking area and surroundings may be dirty.

Fine for a break and emptying the cassette, but not for staying overnight. In the evenings, young show-offs come with loud music.
Cassette toilet emptying was working today. Bins. Lovely area, somewhat dirty surroundings, lots of paper and waste on the ground.
Toilets and waste disposal currently out of order.
Good. Suitable for a picnic; clean toilets.
Fine for a lunchtime break, but the parking area is dirty. I would not stay overnight; there is a lot of traffic.
Bright modern rest stop, plenty of picnic tables, really nice playground, viewing platform to see Sollefteå. Parking for 12h invite for over night stay... However: Only two washrooms. Parking + picnic tables very exposed to sun - too much in summer heat. At night rest stop + adjacent parking lot are used by local youth to meet in their car like A-tractors. Can't recommend overnight stay.
Emptied the camping toilet and continued on our way.
Really nice place, nice atmosphere, nice view. We only emptied our black water here. There is an official latrine emptying place which is also open in winter. Toilets were closed caused to vandalism. To sleep you can stay 12h. There is some traffic noise though.
This could be an amazing rest stop for the night with clean toilets, nice views and lovely surroundings, if it was not for rowdy youths who party all night long in that place, blasting extremely loud music and, worst of all, banging against parking campers. While we stayed here for the night police had to come three times to tell them off. We unfortunately did not feel safe that night.
