Large car park at a former football field, designated for parking, free, unattended and without services. Convenient for visiting the village of Castagneto Carducci, about 300 m away. You can spend the night. The little road to reach it is somewhat steep but manageable with my 7.2 m motorhome.✦Translating

The car park is reached by descending a narrow road with overhanging branches. As it is a former football field, the area is perfectly flat and spacious. It rained and it became muddy. We slept peacefully. The proximity to the historic centre of Castagneto Carducci is excellent. Unfortunately, there are no services of any kind: there are toilets in the old changing rooms, but they are closed. Recommended.✦Translating

Initially thought it would be a nice place for a night, at around 9pm three males arrived in a vehicle, smoked and were loud. Felt unsafe even though they didn’t do anything that indicated that they wanted to harm us. Left around 10:30 as they didn’t …

Large free car park just a short distance from the centre of Castagneto Carducci. Excellent for leaving the motorhome while visiting the village. Entrance is somewhat awkward and steep for motorhomes.✦Translating

No motorhome signs or prohibition signs, dusty although fairly level. Access is difficult for 7.5 m vehicles.✦Translating

As described, we parked here briefly during the day and returned to spend the night at around 9 p.m. Very quiet. The surroundings are lit; at some point the large floodlights went out. We would gladly return.✦Translating

This is indeed a former football field converted into a large gravel car park, dusty and without shade. There is nevertheless room for large motorhomes. Free. The village is easily reached on foot in 10 minutes. No services. We stopped for a few hours for lunch but did not spend the night.✦Translating
