Attraction parking, evening mosquitoes

Just spent a quiet night here. Massive car park right next to the replica ships which are worth seeing. Also next to a stunning monastery, also worth seeing. We weren't bothered with nozzles but did have our vents and windows closed. Must nicer than the hustle and bustle of the city. Free to park with some shade

The spot is nice for daytime parking. However, you won't get a wink of sleep at night because there are endless mosquitoes. Cars also keep arriving, stopping briefly, and then driving away again. Who knows what happens here?

We spent one night here together with other motorhomes. The monastery and Columbus's ships are easily reached from here. Quiet place, but in the evening a few show-offs came with their cars, and there seemed to be quite a lot of traffic in the parking lot throughout the night. Nevertheless, it is really quiet here. We gave Antonio a can of tuna and had a little cuddle.

Great! Modern playground for children, plus a walk along the Tinto Rosso. Just beware of the mosquitoes—they devoured us all night, but we hadn't taken care to protect ourselves.

Ideal place to stop, not far from the caravels and the monastery, both worth seeing. Lots of space for camping in the evening. A very quiet night. If you get the chance, go eat at the Los Descubridores restaurant near the monastery.

Attention! A beautiful Siamese cat named Antonio lives in the parking lot and is very friendly. If you can, support him with food, bring him a gift, or at least donate your company! An incredible place. A quiet parking lot close to nature.

Large parking lot, very good for visiting the monastery and the boats, and also for spending the night.

It would have been 5 stars except for the youngster who decided we needed to hear his very loud car engine and watch him speed around the car park thinking he was an F1 driver!!..... till late in the evening. But once they'd gone it was very quiet. But only stayed 1 night. The Monastry of La Rabida is worth a visit, very interesting and all about Christopher Columbus.

Parking right at the entrance for seeing the three caravels. Very flat and comfortable, with one area for cars and another farther back for caravans. Spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We did not stay overnight, but it seems like a perfect area.

Actually a quiet, great parking lot with many other campers, but on a Sunday there were illegal car and motorcycle races around the parking lot all evening—not dangerous, but very loud. Probably prostitution in one corner of the parking lot. No problems with the police.

We wanted to spend the night here on Sunday evening, but drove away again. It is actually a nice place, but there was loud drifting right next door, cars came, stopped for a moment, and sometimes drove away very fast, while loud motocross bikes drove back and forth everywhere, including between the campers. Then there were exhaust backfires, fireworks, or whatever, for a while. Not for us!!

Very beautiful and quiet place. You park right by the ships. The whole area looks very well maintained.

Great spot by Columbus's three ships. Quiet, plenty of space. Everyone was sitting in the sun with their chairs. We also visited the cemetery in Huelva where Major Martin is buried (WW2).

Excellent place to spend the night and visit the museum. Highly recommended. No services.

Very quiet place to spend the night, with level ground. Perfect for visiting the caravels museum. There is a children's park next door and beautiful areas for walking and cycling. Lots of mosquitoes at night, but that is normal for the area.

Great place for an overnight stay and a half-day outing. We combined a visit to La Rábida Monastery with the Columbus ships museum. The parking lot is quiet and level, and we felt safe.

We parked here for the morning after staying up by the Marina so can't comment on staying the night. perfect for visiting the museum and monastery.

Huge lot, partly dirt and partly asphalt; I think it can accommodate at least 300 cars and campers. Today, January 30, 2026, there are at least 10 campers. Quiet and very safe place, opposite the exhibition of the three caravels. Free parking and recommended.

Super location for the Christopher Columbus museum and Botanical gardens etc. The rain has caused large puddles. As mentioned already the Police and Civil Guard pass daily, reassuringly. It has been quiet at night so far, unfortunately during the day time, a half eaten pizza was thrown at our motorhome... Why ?

Quiet, silent, and level public parking. Very close to the port, convenient for spending the night if you need to catch a ferry. If it rains, there are many puddles.

Parking here is fantastic, close to the caravels museum. Clean and tidy. You can also sleep peacefully.

A spectacular place right next to the Caravels. We slept without any problems and saw nothing unusual around us. Cars pass by, but that's all. The Civil Guard also passed by a couple of times, which is appreciated.

The place is quiet and very beautiful. We had a peaceful night and day. Very spacious for walking. We neither saw nor heard anything about drugs, etc. We were there on December 25.

Avoid on weekends: all night long, cars stop with their headlights on and engines running—a meeting place and/or trafficking. We did not see the police and had to move.

Plenty of space, peaceful surroundings, quiet. A very nicely developed area—surrounded by the Avenue of Conquerors, the Columbus Museum, an amphitheater, all planted with trees. I highly recommend it. Without services

Several gravel parking spaces with small trees between them. Very nice; it seems designed for campers. Little traffic passes along the adjacent road. You can hear the noise of the busy road across the water in the background. Level, mostly sunny, no facilities. Bins by the building. Very quiet and dark at night. Lots of mosquitoes here, though.
