Beach parking, low height barriers

Parking near the sea; we spent one night. It is better to park near the beginning of the parking area on arrival. 2.10 m barrier; leave the upper parking area to the surfers.

You can't blame the parking area for the storm and thunderstorm, can you? A good starting point for a walk through the dunes, passing many bunker complexes on the way to the museum. Unfortunately, there are no rubbish bins, but two parking areas farther on there is one that you can use when leaving. Near the museum.

Large parking area near the ocean. We were able to sleep there, but camping is prohibited. You cannot set out a table or chairs or cook. Construction-site toilets, not very clean given the crowds during the day.

Spot next to the beach and in the dunes. 2 m barrier. Spot somewhat exposed to the wind. Beach, surfing, walking.

Superb spot close to the beach!

Good spot, fairly busy, with music in the distance late in the evening, perhaps a nightclub or festival? But it was not disturbing. Many cars early in the morning, though (Saturday to Sunday night). Accessible only to vans. Construction-site toilets near the beach. Beautiful view of the starry sky.

Woken early by an angry municipal officer who called the gendarmerie (who did not want to come), photographed the license plate, and lectured us about the prohibition on overnight parking.

April 28, 2024: 2.1 m barrier present. Very beautiful and “wild” place with a view of the grassy hills just behind the beach. Kitesurfing spot. I am not giving five stars because with a Ducato van we had to turn around—we had hoped the review saying the barrier was removed out of season was accurate.

The main parking area is sloped. When you park in the spaces at the front along the road, be very, very patient because cars drive past you quickly. Toilets? Ah no, there aren't any. Clearly not the best parking area around.

Fantastic place. Quiet, all the stars visible, by a beautiful beach. Last night from 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., very low-flying helicopters attacked by rattling “machine guns” (the camper van shook and rotor airflow blew inside). Intense and spectacular, but fortunately safe ;)

Great parking area on the beach. 2% slope. Two toilets open day and night. Perfect for surfing in the morning. Many cars from noon onward.

Beautiful spot, although for motorhomes over 2 m the barrier remains in place even in the off-season. We saw this at various other parking areas too; it seems to be a motorhome-unfriendly area.
