Parking, road noise and slope

Nice place on grass, but the road is noisy. Toilets at the tower site are accessible from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Safe place.✦Translating

Ended up back here after touring and on our way back to Calais. Yes there were people chatting again till late but they kept themselves to themselves and it was quiet from 11. The cycle path is excellent and the views from it are stunning. Great stopover. Construction on the viewing tower from 6am this time however!

Stayed here for a peaceful night while passing through. Quickly accessible from the highway entrance and exit, which was convenient, and quiet at night. Ideal for this.✦Translating

We spent one night here after visiting the fort. Very noisy: young people in the parking lot, music blasting and pointless screaming at the top of their lungs. I do not recommend it at all.✦Translating

The place is okay for an overnight stay, with good cycling and walking routes. Unfortunately, access to the bunkers was not open, so there was not much to see, but it is a quiet place.✦Translating

Excellent overnight spot. During the day the parking area can be full of cars, but in the evening it empties completely. Café, restaurants, bakery and supermarket within walking distance (under 1 km). Battice center is accessible via a cycle route. Although you are close to a busy road, it is not bothersome at night. It is very dark at night, with no lighting in the parking section behind the cycle path.✦Translating
