Been here?
A quiet gravel parking area in a former mine site, suitable for spending a night. Short hiking routes of up to 4km lead around the historic mine, with many barbecue areas and covered seating. The site is busy with walkers during the day but can be very quiet at night. There is no toilet or waste disposal, so you should be self-sufficient.

Flat, magnificent, with hikes up to 4 km around, and a place to have a barbecue, easy to access.
For what it is, a large gravel parking in the forest, it is a nice place to spend a night. Nice short hiking trails at the old mine
What a beautiful and lovely place this was. A lot of attention is paid to maintaining the grounds. Clear and beautiful walking routes, and very interesting information about the site with examples of how things used to be done at the mine. It is great to have a covered place to sit and cook and eat extensively in bad weather. Superb!
We stayed there over New Year's Eve; there were two other campers with us, distributed across the various parking areas. There are lovely walks from the site in different directions. Many barbecue areas are available, but there is no waste disposal or toilet—please keep it clean.
A lovingly designed site. The mine and its history are worth seeing. Interesting not only for children. We stayed one night and it was perfectly quiet. Thank you for this wonderful place.
There are various walking routes of different lengths. They take you through different time zones. For children there is a Trollstigen and a mini maze. We are here on Saturday, June 21. Many day visitors came during the day to walk and spend time here. In the evening there were four campers. So wonderfully peaceful!
Beautiful, peaceful site with the possibility of some hikes in the surrounding area. We stayed one night. You should be self-sufficient.
Very beautiful site and very pleasant hiking trails.
Beautiful site for one night, great barbecue shelter and beautiful hiking trails, right by the old mine.
We thought the site was great; simply keep driving along the road, with large parking areas before it. You can barbecue, there is a large barbecue shelter, and the hiking is excellent (we took the yellow trail), with a great view from the top! Staying overnight should also be no problem; we saw no prohibition signs regarding this.
Special place. We were only here for an outing. Great “troll forest” for children, with marked shorter hikes. We did not stay overnight because we had run out of water. But we could imagine spending the night there. There is also an opportunity to make a fire. Unfortunately, there is very little shade.
Very nice place, especially if you have children. They can have a great time. There are also several places to barbecue, and dry wood is available for use. Each barbecue area has tables, and there is a covered area in case it rains. There are hikers during the day, but it is quiet in the evening. Be careful with the toboggan run; it is not really safe and you can quickly get a scratch.
Quiet night, but there is a football field next door and from early morning onward you cannot rest.
