A large, flat picnic area with tables, trees, bins, a fountain and toilets, suitable for several vans or up to 3 large motorhomes. Recent visitors report a working outside tap, free clean toilets, a shower and cassette-waste disposal. Some traffic passes during the day, but staying overnight is considered practical, with useful shade and easy access without a height barrier.

We parked there today to cook, have lunch and watch the boats. At the same time, we got water from the outside tap and had a shower :-) We emptied the toilet cassette. Very nice place. Toilets. All free and clean.
Yes, there is a little traffic, but this location is very convenient for an impromptu stop. I could easily spend one night there. Quite a lot of shade.
Working water point, perfect for spending the night.
For a picnic, why not; for spending the night, I do not know. There is a water point, but the toilets are not great and there are beer cans around—enough said.
