Welcomed very friendly and paid 24 euros cash for a small camper, 2 people, no electricity. Sanitaries new and clean, toilet paper and soap provided. 1 euro for 15 minutes of hot water shower. Rest of campsite feels a little bit rundown. Restaurant on site. Nice view onto the nature reserve.
A very friendly welcome. Beautiful pitches with a direct view of the adjacent nature reserve. We immediately received tips for a lovely walk or bike ride. The sanitary facilities are brand new and very clean. A great spot in a beautiful region!
We thought we would stay here for 2 nights, but stayed for 9. Beautiful place with new, modern sanitary facilities and individual rooms, spotlessly clean thanks to modern materials. Excellent restaurant with terrace. A great base for many trips; information is available from the campsite owner. Excellent value for money.
We stayed at the site for 4 nights; everything was perfect, with a new washroom. The food in the restaurant was, as always, delicious. We feel very comfortable there.
Lovely place, very friendly and helpful owner. New toilet block and wonderful shower, although it costs €1.00, with at least 10 minutes of hot water. The lake is ideal for anglers, unfortunately not for swimming. Definitely recommended!
We received a very friendly welcome from the site manager and also got tips for the surrounding area. The pitch was excellent, with a view of the pond. We could not hear the motorway. Showers and toilets are new and very clean. Unfortunately, there is no toilet brush. One washing-up station is a bit little, and despite the roof you get wet when it rains. We would come again.
Beautiful view of the nature reserve and a friendly site manager. However, the nearby motorway is very loud; we were surprised that nobody had mentioned it before. We would not come again because of this.
We spent three lovely days here. Great views and peace and quiet. The campsite restaurant is recommended; the food was delicious. The site manager was very dedicated, kind, and helpful. There are too few people like that. Reservations are recommended. We would gladly come again.
Beautiful place, but I find it somewhat expensive. €24 for a camper and two adults. Showers and toilets are in containers. Everything is rather run-down and makeshift here. €15 would be more appropriate.
Limited parking for motorhomes on gravel. Nice view and close to the pond and the maar. Sanitary facilities in one container. Convenient for one night. €29 for one camper with two adults and a dog, including electricity. Shops nearby.
Very nice site manager, one minute from a beautiful pond, and within walking distance of a free mine tunnel and maar. Highly worthwhile. €27 for the motorhome plus two people, perfectly reasonable. The toilets are currently in a container and very cramped, but they will probably be renovated soon.
2.5 stars. The surrounding nature is truly excellent. The owner is a bit strange: there supposedly was no space, but suddenly there was. Half the site was still empty in the evening. Sanitary facilities are outdated. Showers are in mobile units. Many supermarkets nearby. Come for the nature and experience, such as the nearby tunnel with information and an exhibition about the volcano.
Idyllic site. Unfortunately, the showers were out of order. The dishwashing sink was also broken. Unfortunately, there was no price advantage. Be sure to use the pedestrian underpass beneath the motorway to walk into town. This tunnel is very special and a work of art!
Nice site and location. We accidentally booked a tent pitch and they still managed to find us a spot for the van for the night. Paying for shower is a downside.
Friendly owner. Tiny toilets and a shower with a curtain in a container. One washing-up station, little storage space, but hot water. No grey-water disposal. Small playground, mostly permanent campers. No lake view, walking paths nearby. Swimming prohibited. Supermarkets nearby. About a 20-minute walk to the town centre. Too expensive. We had to pay the campsite price for a pitch.
Campsite with mostly seasonal pitches. A few transient pitches for caravans and campers. View of the maar. Camper plus two adults: €25, including electricity, water, and chemical-toilet disposal. No grey-water dumping. Showers cost extra, which is outdated. Everything is explained in detail, with many notes about what is and is not allowed or required. Toilet block with a PIN code? Good for one night, expensive, and not very attractive.
Small, very clean and well-maintained site, with many long-term guests, some pitches, and a meadow for tents. The site manager is very friendly and helpful. Electricity, toilet disposal, and water available. Showers are basic and small but clean, available for €1 for 15 minutes. Dogs welcome. Great starting point for walks. Nature reserve; swimming is not possible. Shops within walking distance.
Beautiful campsite, friendly owners. They accommodated my request for a secluded spot because of my reactive dog. It was June; during high season that may be more difficult. Lovely walk around the lake.
Toilets are very small. Only one sink. At night, the motorway can be heard from the pop-up roof. Very nice operator. Fair price: two people and one dog in a van for €19. Wonderful surroundings. The maar is beautiful!
