Peaceful park up for the night. Great walking in the area, popular with the locals on a Sunday afternoon. 60 metre parking area for the school bus to pick up the children in the morning and afternoon. Would come again.

Wonderful place for a short stop and walk. Delicious coffee in the little hut just past the building, with pleasant seating. Several animals in and around the property. You can take a 3.5 km circular walk, or continue farther to the caves. The river is crystal clear and easily accessible. I saw no signs saying that overnight stays are prohibited.✦Translating

Very busy—about ten vans—but a very quiet place with rubbish bins and even a children's playground. Very convenient before visiting the Postojna caves.✦Translating

The place is very busy during the day but pleasantly quiet at night. You can stay undisturbed until 10 a.m. in the morning. Breakfast on the bench next to the goats is worthwhile! The ruins look beautiful in the morning sun. We stayed here with about six campers and nobody felt disturbed.✦Translating

A lovely little place; some parking spaces are in the sun, while others offer a bit of shade. Besides hiking, you can reach the village in a 30–40 minute walk. In front of the castle there is a small, beautifully maintained park and a little bar serving delicious beer and coffee (cash only). Be aware that goats, donkeys, and horses roam around; we loved it, but they may be a challenge if you have dogs.✦Translating
