This quiet mountain spot has wide views over the mountains, sea and city, especially at sunset, with several picnic tables, two barbecues and rubbish bins. Overnight stays have recently been reported as allowed, although the ground is uneven and finding a level sleeping place can be difficult. The toilets are closed, and the water is not checked. Cars may visit the panoramic area until around midnight.

Incredible spot, with a beautiful view of the mountains, the sea, and the town at sunset. Difficult to find a flat place to sleep, but worth the detour!
Lovely peaceful spot. Great views. Toilets are closed. Some people in cars came to enjoy the view, but we were alone most of the night.
great views and a quiet place to spend the day.
Very peaceful scenic area, with several picnic tables and a couple of barbecue spots. We slept on the grass to the right, not far from the tables, and it was extremely quiet. In the more scenic area near the swings, there was a steady stream of cars and young people until around midnight—it was Friday evening. Try to arrive at sunset!
Last night, 5 August 2025, we couldn't drive up because of the risk of forest fire, as indicated by the sign. We slept somewhere else, near the Poço Negro waterfalls.
Super quiet place with water and barbecue areas. Staying overnight is allowed.
Magnificent view, quiet for one night. The ground is a little sloped, so remember to use leveling blocks. The view at sunset and early in the morning puts you in a good mood.
Great view, completely quiet night (Saturday). It's a shame that there are still women who throw their damn wet wipes around the area!
Great view, especially at sunset and at night. A beautiful place in itself too. Relatively uneven. Good internet. Very quiet. Untreated water. Trash bin, although unfortunately there is still some rubbish lying around—especially the aforementioned wet wipes.
Very nice spot, but the police asked us to leave after our picnic. Apparently we were in a protected park, and sleeping there is prohibited.
We had a very relaxed, quiet night!
Spacious pitches to choose from. Very good for a lunch stop.
