11A Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, 66130, Saarbrücken
Been here?
A flat, free motorhome parking area at Güdingen racecourse, suitable for self-sufficient stays of up to 72 hours. It is close to the Saar, the Saarbahn, dining options and a cycle path into Saarbrücken. There are no facilities, and waste disposal is nearby. Access is easy from the motorway, though local traffic can become noisy from 6:00 in the morning; motorhomes up to 8 meters fit best.

We spent one night here while passing through. The site is centrally located and easy to reach from the motorway. It was quiet at night.
Very good, flat, with free reserved campervan spaces for 72 hours. The only drawback is that it becomes very noisy from 6 a.m. because of local traffic. Perfect for one night while passing through.
Many thanks to the municipality!
Ideal for a cycling trip along the Saar to Saarbrücken. Well signposted. Round trip with sightseeing, approximately 15 km. Motorhomes up to a maximum of 8 metres; otherwise park outside on the unpaved area closer to the road.
We had a quiet night. Everything was as described, very close to the motorway.
Fine as a stopover. No facilities. Waste disposal nearby. Suitable for one self-sufficient night.
Simple car park without any facilities on a busy road. Acceptable for one night in an emergency.
It was very stable and had good internet.
The place is fine for one or two nights. Where can you still find this today? A free parking area for motorhomes.
Thanks to the municipality for this free campervan site near places to eat. A couple of hundred metres into Germany. Level ground, wonderfully quiet night. Traffic in the morning from people parking for the day. Added to our favourites list.
The parking area is blocked by the Christmas tree sale. Cars are only allowed to park in the other spaces.
The parking spaces are currently unavailable/closed because a Christmas tree sale has been set up there. The entire car park is quite large, so it may be possible to park elsewhere.
Designated green parking by the Saar river walks. Great restaurant 5 min away that served excellent roasted duck - Wirtshaus Zur Wilden Ente. Very quiet night.
The site is as described. There were probably many motorhomes today because of the public holiday. In the morning, a French baker's van selling bread was a positive start to the day. No services, but free. Thank you.
Convenient for visiting Saarbrücken, but no services apart from nearby bins. The road is busy, but becomes quieter in the evening.
We spent a quiet night here while passing through. The spaces are level, partly shaded, and there is enough room for everyone. Road traffic can be heard but is not disturbing. We were there with five other motorhomes. Well located, as it is quick to reach from the motorway.
Convenient car park, maximum 72 hours, used for an overnight stop.
Good for a stopover. We slept peacefully with five other motorhomes and campervans. There are no facilities. No toilets nearby.
Nice flat car park. Minimal noise at night from the road. Stayed the night with 4 other campers. Short walk from the river. Bins nearby. No other services.
Lovely spot with direct access to the banks of the River Saar for miles of cycling! Bonus fruit and veg stall in the car park, selling delicious strawberries. Fairly quiet with some traffic noise but would definitely return - thank you
A car park where a motorhome sign has been put up. On a genuinely very busy road, unfortunately not in the rear section. My rear wheels were clearly on the grass because the spaces are only small car spaces. Lots of traffic through the car park too. It worked in an emergency for visiting Saarbrücken, but nothing more.
Reasonably quiet at the weekend, but from 7 a.m. on Sunday there were lots of cars because of the French baker. No waste disposal or fresh water. The rear space has some natural shade (it was 34 degrees during our stay). Still, thanks to the community for letting us stay here!
A small park with wonderful trees planted in a semicircle—a green oasis. Unfortunately, the overflowing, dirty rubbish area does not fit this setting at all.
Well-located parking area; Saarbrücken is quickly reachable by bicycle.
Great, very close to the cycle path, with nice restaurants nearby. On Saturdays you can buy strawberries from a stall, and on Sundays a bakery van even comes from France.
Nice town-centre location. Very good cycling opportunities along the river. Traffic noise from early morning, but that is to be expected when you are in the middle of a town.
Hello, I wanted to spend the night there today, but unfortunately I could not because a vehicle the size of a Morelo was parked in such a way that it occupied half the site. This motorhome owner does not care where other people spend the night. I have pictures of this inconsiderate motorhome owner. A larger motorhome like that has no place here.
Good convenient spot which was quiet overnight but the car park did get busy early in the morning. A few other campers about.
Pleasant place not far from the town centre, but very noisy because of traffic from 6 a.m.
Completely occupied by cars, while dozens of ordinary parking spaces were free. Also relatively far from the town centre. What a shame.
