Beachside parking, noisy nights

On street parking in a nice part of town next to a beautiful beach. Felt relatively safe and 15 minutes walk to the old town. Public toilets on beach which were fine but not great. Parking spaces are narrow for our 2.4m wide Motorhome, but we made do. Plenty of spaces available in March. Traffic started quite early and was rocking the van.✦Translating

Good location, 15 minutes' walk from the old town, beach right at your feet, magnificent view, bins on the beach. Busy road, but at this time of year it is fine. Free when we visited on 6/07/25; the parking meters display “paid from 1/06 to 30/09”.✦Translating

Along the seafront road to Antibes, 15 minutes on foot from the center, roadside, somewhat busy, and at night some people drive quite fast, but an excellent location right next to the beach. We stayed parked for three days (December 30–31 and January 1) with other campers; nobody made us leave and the police passed several times. The payment machines were switched off, perhaps it is paid in high season.✦Translating

The municipal police told us it is prohibited even outside the season. We are not welcome with our motorhome.✦Translating

Yes there’s plenty of room. Yes it’s by the beach. Yes it’s free (out of season). But it still on road parking and even on Christmas Eve people still drive by all through the night. Handy for daytime parking but I wouldn’t stay overnight again :(✦Translating

If you arrive very early in the morning, great spots are available! It’s best to be there before 9:00. On Saturdays and Sundays, parking is free all day! You only need to buy a ticket for about 20 cents. Great!!! We didn’t try staying overnight, but theoretically it should be possible. Plage de Sablis has a wonderful sandy beach.✦Translating

It’s excellent for spending the day. The view is incredible and the town is lovely. Parking is free at night, but I don’t recommend going on a Friday or at the weekend, as it becomes impossible to sleep because of the noise from cars passing at high speed and young people gathering on the beach.✦Translating

This spot would’ve probably been ok, but due to the road noise and people walking we moved to the carpark next to it and ended up moving during the night. All sorts of dodgy people hanging around this area of a night and didn’t fancy waiting around so we headed to the gravel carpark 12 minutes further away✦Translating

great place to stop right by the beach. we had no problem. a Walk into the old town was about 15 minutes and there's a lovely little bakery about 5 mins away the road is a little busy in the daytime and the old car whizzes by in the night. There are a few height restrictions on the way down to the beach though town. just make sure you're paying attention through the town if using Google maps.✦Translating

Stayed here for 2 nights, very practical for exploring Antibes. We felt very safe, as it is always busy here during the day. We even took the train to Nice and left the camper here during the day.✦Translating

Free, great location right next to the beach and a short walk from Antibes city centre. We only stayed the day because the road traffic could be too loud for sleeping.✦Translating

Free seaside parking in November, on the road with lovely walk to superb old centre of Antibes. Plenty of space during our visit, didn’t stay the night, great for the day with the beaches beside you and lovely views across to Nice and the Alps on the walk along the prom. Felt safe as can be leaving the van, as plenty of locals around and families enjoying their day, road quiet with traffic . ✦Translating

Perfect spot next to the lifeguard station. There are toilets open until 9 or 10 p.m. We were able to admire a magnificent sunrise.✦Translating

These were the only parking bays in this part of Antibes where we could not see any prohibition signs. We stayed here for one night with our 6 m motorhome. Public toilets and showers are available, as described, with the parking directly on the beach.✦Translating

There is a sign at the beginning of the road prohibiting campervan parking, specifying all vehicle sizes.✦Translating
