Central town parking, daytime noise

Large parking lot in the town center, with lots of passing traffic. Toilets open 24/7. Several motorhomes and vans during my visit in July.

Very good place for one quiet night. Toilets closed at night. New parking fees. Paid from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.

I spent two nights in this parking lot. Quiet place, flat parking. Toilets available 24/7 and clean. Free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., plus 1.5 hours free, so until 9:30 a.m.

Close to the town center, with shops easily accessible. Very clean and well maintained. The large lawn was mowed in the morning, and you were definitely awake afterward. It did not bother us. We did not use the toilet, as we are self-sufficient. The first 1.5 hours are free, as is nighttime. Really inexpensive for Switzerland.

We had a very peaceful night. Two designated motorhome spaces available 24 hours. Parking fees are reasonable and payable in cash or via the app, but not by debit card. Toilets were open 24 hours. Very close to the town center. Beautiful view of the mountains.

Big thanks to everyone in Appenzell for this. It is basically free if you plan to arrive around 18 and leave for a hike at 8-9. Lidl, Coop and the historical centre few meters away.

Great location. The city centre starts directly from the parking area, so there is plenty of infrastructure nearby. We did not use the toilets, but everything looked very clean. Also suitable for larger motorhomes. We would definitely recommend this pitch!

One of the best pitches in Switzerland. Thank you, dear Appenzell residents! The specialities from König Bakery, just two minutes away, are highly recommended. They make great gifts, and the Biberli are simply delicious!

I drove around the town's various parking areas, and this is definitely the best. Very quiet, services very close, a nice green lawn, and free for 24 hours.

There are two spot for large vehicle, a large lawn and a perfect playground for entertaining children. 5CFH for 12 hours. The toilet was clean. we spent one night in absolute silence till visitors start to come at 0800am

Perfect parking for sleeping, central and quiet. The town is very beautiful, and the brewery is excellent.

Stayed one night, was peaceful night, love the place, near the center and few supermarkets around, our kids enjoy the huge playground. Definitely recommend this place. Parking is free during the weekend!
