This large dirt parking area is opposite the market and the main pedestrian shopping area, close to the fortress and river. It is convenient for visiting the city and walking around. In March 2026 there was no charge, and a 7m motorhome could park there despite afternoon busyness.

Great spot to visit the fortress and walk around near the river. Immediately opposite the market and the main pedestrian shopping area. In March 2026 there was no charge and whilst busy when we arrived early afternoon we managed to park our 7m motorhome. After 5pm we moved to the top corner by the mosque, a little away from the main traffic and more level, slept undisturbed. No services.
