Been here?
A daytime parking lot directly beside Lake Dümmer, situated in a small forest. Overnight stays are prohibited, and recent reports also question whether sleeping is allowed in this nature-reserve area. The surface can be extremely muddy and the narrow access is better suited to smaller vehicles. The lake area offers walking, birdwatching, and an outlook tower, but there is no direct lake access.

I don’t think you are allowed to sleep here because it is in the middle of a nature reserve. The parking area was full during the day, and in the evening we were the only ones, which reinforced that feeling. It is extremely muddy too.Translating
We spent a completely quiet night here. There is a swimming lake nearby and many lovely walking opportunities. The place is quite muddy and probably more suitable for smaller vans.Translating
This quiet place is great for one night. No prohibition signs, but access is limited to 3.5 tonnes and there is a concealed sign saying “cars only”. And the mosquitoes are truly hell... Yes, yes, quite surprising between a lake and a marsh.Translating
Not much happening now in winter. No camper prohibition sign. Actually a beautiful spot, but deducted a point because it is terribly muddy.Translating
