Harbour parking, traffic noise at night

It is nice that spacing between the motorhomes is provided. Getting a place in high season is likely to be a matter of luck. The town itself is beautiful and typically touristy.✦Translating

The free parking area is great, and the whole town is very beautiful with plenty to offer. Many thanks for providing it. Unfortunately, from evening until midnight, a group of scooters and fast cars repeatedly drive back and forth, which is very unpleasant.✦Translating

Many thanks to the municipality for the free motorhome spaces. Nice for exploring the small town with its charming streets. During the day the site is not quiet, as vehicles come and go. During our visit, a group of scooters repeatedly passed by the site until shortly before midnight.✦Translating

There are seven free parking spaces reserved for motorhomes. It is relatively level and paved, and there is also a toilet on site. The charming little town is 200 metres away—small but beautiful. No supply, disposal or electricity, but there is apparently a grey-water disposal point nearby. Many thanks to the town administration. RM✦Translating

Good place to stop for the night. Flat and quiet, with some traffic noise in the evening and morning, but not disturbing. Nice town to visit. Services are about 1 km away at the dock.✦Translating

Good place to stay for a few nights. Plenty of toilets nearby and right in the centre. As a result, it is not completely quiet, with noise from cars and scooters. Also a good base for walking part of the Ohavsstien trail. For filling and emptying water, you can go to the harbour a few hundred metres away.✦Translating

Many thanks to the town of Faaborg! Within walking distance of the ferry, sailing harbour and enchanting old town. The public toilet directly at the motorhome site is rather frightening. There are others nearby. One observation: at around 3 p.m. all seven spaces were occupied, but at 9 p.m. only two of us were here. Presumably the other motorhomes had been waiting for their ferry.✦Translating

A heartfelt thank-you to the municipality for this excellent free parking area with toilet access, directly by the harbour, harbour baths and beautiful town centre. We stayed with three other motorhomes, had a quiet night and were woken in the morning by pleasant bells.✦Translating

This parking area was perfect for us; we spent two nights there without any problems. It may be a little noisy at night because of the road, but it was manageable. It is a lovely, very commercial town to visit. A pleasant bike ride to Dyreborg and Horne Church, which is beautiful and worth seeing, with a beautiful sunset. All spaces were occupied on both evenings.✦Translating

Great location! Near the town center, 200 m from a supermarket, next to the water-sports center for a swim in the sea, and also very close to the ferries for possibly visiting the surrounding islands! A little farther along the harbor there is a service area for emptying tanks and filling up. Thanks to the municipality for this appreciated welcome.✦Translating

Excellent free parking for visiting the town. Free public toilets opposite the spaces, and above all they were clean. Quiet night.

When we arrived, all seven spaces were occupied, but that did not stop us from parking right next to them. The location is very good, close to the town center. A homeless person was sleeping on the benches directly opposite; he made a little noise, but nothing too disturbing.

Convenient, with toilets (closed at night), a swimming pool, and a playground just a stone’s throw away. The town center is very close. However, it is quite noisy and lit all night.

An excellent place to stay for a few days. Pleasant seaside resort. Showers, toilets, changing rooms, hammocks, and a café available. Gray- and black-water disposal and filling the water tank are possible at the marina. A pleasant marina with many restaurants and cafés. The colorful town center is also worth visiting.

Very good overnight parking in front of the romantic town center. The tourist information office provides all important information in abundance and in several languages. Well worth a visit!

Convenient place, with public toilets available (closed after 8 p.m.). You can easily walk into town or to the harbor with its many dining options. Small public swimming pool by the water. Great for children.

Thanks to the town for this free stopover. The night was quiet after 11 p.m., when the urban scooter racers left.
